Warlords III: Reign of Heroes

Warlords III: Reign of Heroes is a turn-based strategy game set in a fantasy universe.

The Selentine Empire has been overrun by undead and a number of warlords are fighting to determine who will control what remains of the world. Players must build armies to conquer cities and overwhelm their opponents. The game features 84 different unit types, each of which has different combat strengths, and movement points.

Players can use the random map generator to play single games, there are 12 stand-alone game scenarios, plus a campaign mode. Diplomacy is possible and the user can choose from a range of different victory conditions: Last Warlord Standing, Most Cities, Most Victory Points, Most Money.

Warlords II Deluxe

Warlords II Deluxe is an eight player game of conquest and empire. Different worlds are provided as a stage for your ambitions, and as a test of your capabilities. In the quest for final victory, you will assemble vast armies, conquer and loot mighty cities, undertake perilous quests, make and break alliances and wield magical artifacts of great power.

Warlords II Deluxe is a sequel to the best selling Warlords II and boasts a wide range of additions and improvements. As well as the game itself, Warlords II Deluxe contains an improved version of the Warlords II Scenario Builder and a number of new scenarios.

Warlords II

Warlords is a strategic war game, fought out by eight different players, for the domination of the Kingdom of Illuria. It can be played by one to eight people, with the computer taking the remaining positions. The Kingdom of Illuria, after some severe internal disputes, has seethed under a sullen and uneasy peace. This truce has now disappeared, along with the arch-mage who imposed it. The eight empires of Illuria realize that this is their chance for total domination, a very unstable situation. Forces are being mobilized for conquest, and only one Supreme Warlord will prevail.

Your objectives in Warlords are brutally simple: to eliminate all organized opposition to your rule. To do this, you will have to control all eighty cities in the lands of Illuria, and thereby eliminate all seven opponents. There are many ways to achieve this, and brute force is just one of them. you might ally with dragons or wizards, or have your Heroes search out and wield magical swords that will tip the battle in your favor. Clever military tactics and even economic warfare are possibilities too.
Warlords II brought more continents to the game along with many new features and better graphics.

Warlords DS

Originally planned for a Q2 2007 release, the game was announced as a version of Warlords 2 for the Nintendo DS. It was silently cancelled after the publisher, Strategy First, dropped the game and the developer was unable to find another publisher. News about the game was removed from the publisher's site after it missed its release window and included their other DS projects for Jagged Alliance and Disciples II.

Warlords DS is an eight player turn-based strategy game of conquest and empire. Different worlds provide a stage for the player to excel in combat. In the quest for final victory, gamers can assemble vast armies, conquer and loot mighty cities, undertake perilous quests, make and break alliances, and wield magical artifacts of great power. Although economics, diplomacy, and exploration weigh heavily in the outcome of each game, the primary emphasis is placed on combat.

Puzzle Kingdoms

Puzzle Kingdoms challenges players to plan out strategic attacks in order to defeat their opponents. Order troops across the map, conquering cities through innovative puzzle gameplay. Players build and manage armies led by heroic commanders to save the world of Etheria from the brink of destruction. By matching corresponding gems on the game board, players will both inflict damage on enemy forces while building mana that can be used to perform devastating attacks that will cripple their opponents.

Puzzle Quest 2

Puzzle Quest 2 is a video game developed by Infinite Interactive for the Nintendo DS, Xbox Live Arcade, iOS, Android, Windows Phone 7, and Microsoft Windows. It was released on June 22, 2010 by D3 Publisher. It is the sequel to Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords, and like its predecessor, it combines role-playing with strategy and puzzle elements. It uses a competitive, Bejeweled-style, "match three game" playfield to simulate combat and other activities common to role-playing games.

Warlords Battlecry

Warlords Battlecry, released in 2000 by Strategic Studies Group and published by SSI, is a real-time strategy game that combines resource management, tactical combat, and role-playing elements set in a fantasy world.

Warlords Battlecry II

The game is set within the world of Etheria. In the campaign the player must take control of one of the twelve races and capture all sixty-seven regions of the land in a non-linear manner. The player does this whilst assuming the role of a "Hero" which he or she has created. There are twelve different playable races, each with their own type of Hero, buildings and resource dependencies.

Warlords Battlecry III

Warlords Battlecry III further expands the Battlecry tradition of featuring persistent RPG-like fantasy heroes with its retinue of loyal followers fighting massive battles in the Warlords' world of Etheria. It is a true sequel to Warlords Battlecry I & II, featuring many familiar races and troop-types, while also adding some new ones into the mix. 

Warlords Battlecry III continue to perfect its automated feature system, greatly reducing gameplay micromanagement and quickly proving to be the holy grail of RTS games among gamers of the genre. 

While being a strong RTS outright, there are also numerous activities for players to engage in between battles, such as obtaining titles and awards, trading and purchasing items & retinue members, and even an upgradeable castle to reflect your importance and influence in the world of Etheria. 

Extra features included in Warlords Battlecry III are specifically geared to please the legions of previous Battlecry players, including the removal of hero and unit caps, the addition of new special abilities for high-level heroes and the creation of an intuitive hero system. All of these features, coupled with new races and hero classes, new spells and items, and new building and dragons meld to form a Real-Time Strategy game that once again raises the benchmark for other games in the genre. Warlords Battlecry III is poised to receive even greater accolades than the previous award-winning titles in the Warlords Battlecry series.
