How to delete your account

1. 1Sign in to your account at shelvely.com or in the Shelve·ly mobile app.
2. 2Go to Profile → Settings → Danger zone.
3. 3Tap «Delete my account», enter your password, and type DELETE to confirm.
4. 4Your account and all your data will be deleted immediately and irreversibly.

Can't access your account?

If you cannot sign in, you can request data deletion by sending an email to:

Include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.

Data that is deleted

• User account (name, email, password)
• Avatar and profile picture
• Game library and play statuses
• Wishlist
• Written reviews and ratings
• Custom lists and their contents
• Followers and following
• Session and access tokens (signed out of all devices)
• Activity history and notifications

Data retained temporarily

• Server activity logs: retained for up to 90 days for security and technical diagnostics.
• Encrypted database backups: retained for up to 30 days before being automatically purged.

None of the retained data includes personally identifiable information linked to your account after deletion.

Immediate effect

Account deletion is processed immediately. Your data becomes instantly inaccessible on the platform and in the app. Data retained in backups is automatically purged within the stated timeframes.
