Doom II: Hell on Earth

Doom II: Hell on Earth is a first-person shooter developed by id Software and released in 1994 as a sequel to the original Doom. The game continues the story, with players battling through Earth after it has been invaded by demonic forces.

Gameplay remains similar to its predecessor, featuring fast-paced combat, maze-like levels, and an array of weapons, including the introduction of the powerful Super Shotgun. Doom II also adds new enemy types, such as the Arch-vile and the Mancubus, increasing the game's challenge.

Initially released for MS-DOS, Doom II has since been ported to numerous platforms, becoming a cornerstone of the FPS genre.

Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil

Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil (commonly abbreviated to as RoE) is an expansion pack for Doom 3 developed by Nerve Software and id Software and released on April 4, 2005. The PC version was sold as an expansion pack, requiring Doom 3 to install. The Xbox version was sold as a stand-alone game, with Ultimate Doom, Doom II, and the Doom II Master Levels as bonuses on the disc.

The expansion pack included several new monsters, as well as three new weapons.

In the future, humans have left Earth and settled throughout the galaxy. On Mars, the Union Aerospace Corporation has established a radioactive waste facility and allowed the military to conduct teleportation experiments on the nearby moons of Deimos and Phobos. Hours ago, the base on Mars began receiving incoherent distress messages from Phobos, while Deimos has disappeared completely. With all attempts to establish contact failing, you and your team have been dispatched to investigate. Upon arrival, you secure the perimeter as the rest of your team enters the facility. As you stand guard, your radio crackles with the sound of gunfire, cracking bones and blood-curdling screams and eventually falls silent. Alone, with no way off the planet or means to defend yourself other than your trusty pistol, there’s only one way out - into the complex of death and the horrors that await you within. If you plan to get out of here alive you must fend off the hordes of demonic imps, haunting spectres and your undead, former comrades waiting to tear you limb from limb. So, grab the nearest shotgun and blast your way out of this fragging madness!

Doom 64

You killed the Demons once, they were all dead. Or so you thought... A single Demon Entity escaped detection. Systematically it altered decaying, dead carnage back into grotesque living tissue. The Demons have returned - stronger and more vicious than ever before. You mission is clear, there are no options: kill or be killed!

Doom Resurrection

Doom Resurrection is an on-rails shooter survival horror game developed by Escalation Studios under leadership of John Carmack and published by id Software. It was released on 26 June 2009. The setting for Doom Resurrection is parallel to Doom 3, and it uses assets from that previously developed game.

Doom 3: BFG Edition

The BFG Edition features enhanced graphics, better audio with more horror effects, a checkpoint save system, and support for 3D displays and HMDs. The game also includes the previous expansion Resurrection of Evil and a new single-player expansion pack called The Lost Mission. Additionally, it includes copies of the original Doom (the Ultimate Doom edition with the add-on fourth episode, "Thy Flesh Consumed"), and Doom II with the expansion No Rest for the Living, previously available for the Xbox 360. The BFG Edition also features the ability to use the flashlight while holding a weapon, in the form of the so-called armor-mounted flashlight.

BFG Edition

Rekkr

Rekkr is a 4-episode total conversion, created by Matthew Little (Revae), with a full soundtrack created by Tom Jensen (HexenMapper), sound effects provided by TerminusEst13, additional textures by Chris Kassap (lupinx-Kassman), and additional mapping by Angry Saint, Brayden Hart (AD_79), Bzzrak Ktazzz, Chris Kassap, James Paddock (Jimmy), Jaws in Space, SuperCupcakeTactics, TerminusEst13, and Velcrosasquatch. The mod is distributed as both a PWAD for Ultimate Doom (or Freedoom, since all content is replaced it does not matter which one) and a stand-alone IWAD version.

Double Impact

Double Impact is a episode replacement PWAD for The Ultimate Doom by Matt Cibulas (RottKing) and Ralph Vickers (Ralphis). It is a winner of 2011's 18th Annual Cacowards, requires a limit-removing port to play. In its original PWAD form, it replaces all nine levels of Episode 1. On 11 November 2013, it has been included with Freedoom: Phase 1, as part of the fourth chapter of the game.

On 13th February 2020, Double Impact was the first community-made mod to be adopted by Bethesda as one of the official add-ons for the Doom Classic Unity port. This version is slightly different. First, the intermission image, which incorporates the cover art from the unlicensed Hungarian novel Doom - Tisztítótűz, was recreated using instead the Eisen character from Quake Champions (specifically, the Eisen skin variant featuring a cap and an eyepatch). Another difference involves the alteration of the d_e1m8 theme to remove references to the PSX Doom theme.

Deathless

Deathless is a megawad PWAD for The Ultimate Doom by James Paddock (Jimmy). Originally just a single Episode 4 replacement released as Griefless on July 1, 2018, it was extended to a full replacement of all four episodes when released on November 9 of the same year. On May 14, 2020, it was added to the list of official add-ons for the Doom Classic Unity port, with various visual changes as summarized by a Doomworld forums post.

Thy Flesh Turned into a Draft Excluder

Thy Flesh turned into a draft-excluder is a limit-removing episode 4 replacement for Ultimate Doom by Matt Powell (cannonball). The title is a reference to "Thy Flesh Consumed," the original fourth episode which the WAD replaces. The WAD is sometimes considered an extension of ConC.E.R.N.ed, Powell's earlier Ultimate Doom three-episode megawad, though this has never been properly confirmed. The episode is intended to be difficult, in keeping with the original episode 4.

2002 A Doom Odyssey

2002 A Doom Odyssey is a 2002 megawad for The Ultimate Doom which replaces all four episodes. The project was organized by Paul Corfiatis, who designed most of the levels, and also composed the megawad's soundtrack.

Doom the Way id Did: The Lost Episodes

Doom the Way id Did: The Lost Episodes is a 2012 megawad for Ultimate Doom containing six new episodes totalling 53 levels created with maps submitted to Doom the Way id Did which did not make the final cut.

In 2016 it received the Mordeth Award of the 23rd Annual Cacowards and was uploaded to idgames archive.

Return to Hadron

Return to Hadron is a work in progress remake of ConC.E.R.N.ed, a Doom megawad created by Matt Powell (cannonball) for limit removing source ports. The first episode was released in 2015 and was later named as a winner of the 22nd Annual Cacowards. Powell released a second episode in late 2016, which was a runner-up for the 2017 Cacowards. On September 1, 2020, episode 3 was released which, again, reached runner-up status at the 2020 Cacowards. Episode 4 was released on October 22, 2023.

Sheer Poison

Sheer Poison is a single-level PWAD for Doom which occupies E2M1 level slot. It was designed by Zan-zan-zawa-veia. It uses new music track as a replacement. The map has received one of the 22nd Annual Cacowards.

Sheer Poison was featured in Doomworld's Top 100 Most Memorable Maps, placing 74th.

Shotgun Symphony

Shotgun Symphony is an episode replacement PWAD for Doom, released in January 2019 by Steve Duff, requiring a Boom-compatible source port. An E1-E2 style maps heavily inspired by Fava Beans, Shotgun Symphony features seamless progression between levels (with each new map's initial area being introduced by the previous map's exit location), creating the impression of a lone, giant facility.

Shotgun Symphony was one of the recipients of the 2019 Cacowards.

Aliens: Eradication

A GZDoom MOD using Kontra Kommando's Aliens: Trilogy/Ultimate Doom modification as its base. Play as four unique classes against the power of the Xenomorphs, all while battling with Weyland/Yutani Company forces, opportunistic mercenaries, and malfunctioning combat droids. Play with Doom or Doom 2 wads and pwads or try the included map set for the ultimate terror.

Aliens TC

Aliens TC is a total conversion based on the movie Aliens, created in 1994 by Justin Fisher.

It was the first total conversion and is one of the most famous. In the week following the release of Doom II, there was more discussion in the Doom newsgroups related to Aliens TC than to Doom II. The popularity of the TC even reached outside the Doom community, for instance providing inspiration for the 1998 Dreamworks game Trespasser. Fisher was offered employment by various game developers (including Dreamworks for the team that would later make Trespasser), but declined in order to finish his university degree.

Doom is a sci-fi first-person shooter game developed by id Software and Nerve Software and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is an updated version of the original 1993 Doom that uses the Unity engine as a shell for the id Tech 1 engine.

This game, as well as Doom II Classic, was initially released in a suite of classic Doom ports for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android, however, the ports were initially heavily criticized due to its poor quality and inaccuracies compared to the previous console generation ports while implementing an always-online DRM that required the player to sign into a Bethesda.net account (meant to unlock Slayers Club rewards) to play the game, despite these ports not having any online multiplayer features.

After the initial criticism of the ports, Nerve Software eventually rectified the issues of the log-in requirements and problems with the ports through patches. A PC version of Doom Classic was released through Bethesda.net on January 9, 2020, which was later re-released through Steam on September 3, 2020 as a free update to existing owners of The Ultimate Doom.

The Ultimate Doom: Knee-Deep in Zdoom

Knee-Deep in ZDoom (also known by the abbreviation KDiZD) is a ten-level PK3 for The Ultimate Doom, designed for use with the ZDoom source port. The project was led by Daniel Gimmer (Tormentor667). It was first released on June 2, 2007, and at the 2007 ceremony it picked up a regular Cacoward as well as the Mordeth award. The final version of the mod was uploaded on June 16, 2012.

The PWAD is a reinterpretation of the original id Software's Knee-Deep in the Dead. A core concept of the mod was to expand the original levels by making full use of the power of Marisa Heit (Randi)'s ZDoom port, which adds features that are not possible under the original Doom engine. The levels have an atmosphere and design similar to Quake 2, with large tech bases and similar ambient sounds.

Doom Ultimate Enhanced

Doom Ultimate Enhanced is an enhanced mod that tries to improve the game without destroying the gameplay and balancing it. I try to give a better experience to the player. Basing in mods like Brutal Doom, Beautiful Doom, Doom Enhanced and Enhanced Vanilla Project. Some features that the mod offers are: - Some smooth animations for the weapons, items and decorations. - New sounds for the weapons. - Some Wolfenstein 3D enemies added. Among other things that there is or will be in this mod.

Poom: Miasma Massacre

Poom is a mod for The Ultimate Doom that parodies the band Black Veil Brides' lead singer, Andy Sixx.

Ultimate Doom the Way id Did

A custom Doom 1 level pack released in 2019 that takes over the Episode 4 slot of The Ultimate Doom. Created by various mappers from the Doom modding community, 'Ultimate Doom the Way id Did' is an attempt at replicating the style of the various mappers that contributed to the original Episode 4 of Doom and its difficulty.

This level pack is 9 maps long, and occupies the entirety of Episode 4. No other new maps occupy the first 3 episodes, and this can be seen as an expansion to 'Doom the Way id Did', released in 2011.

The Thing You Can't Defeat

Experimental mod for Ultimate Doom. Doomguy has dementia. The Thing you can’t Defeat lets you replay the first episode of Ultimate Doom as it slowly morphs into a confusing and demented nightmare.

This WAD was HEAVILY inspired by the WAD “Doom but somethings not right” and the album “Everywhere at the end of time” by The Caretaker.

Phobos: Anomaly Reborn

Phobos: Anomaly Reborn is a PWAD level set by Christopher Lutz released in 2003. The episode features a similar design as Lutz's other levels, with highly detailed and realistic environments. Examples of such include a moving train and a hangar with ships and transport rails. The episode was included in Doomworld's Top 100 WADs of All Time list.

Thematically, the episode serves as a replacement of the first Doom episode. However, it is much more difficult than the original, with bigger puzzles and stronger enemies appearing earlier.

Stickney Installation

A 4 episode ultimate doom megawad containing 36 maps. Most are loosely based on the original ultimate doom levels but with unique layouts and gameplay, the maps are inspired rather than being direct remakes. Difficulty is fairly average, later levels should provide a decent challenge without getting frustrating or tedious.

Solar Struggle

Solar Struggle is an Ultimate Doom, limit-removing (Complevel 3) community project. Each map was given a name first and then participants were invited to make a level based of it.

The first 3 episodes are comparatively easy and short, and the 4th is ramping difficulty up quite a bit. The maps are balanced for pistol-start primarily.

2022 A Doom Odyssey

2022ado is a Boom/MBF compatible megawad (seriously a mega megawad) for the Ultimate Doom. It is a tribute to the original 2002ado released 20 years ago but with all new maps and music. The megawad has taken over 5 years to create.

The Ultimate Doom: In Name Only

The project was designed to be a creative exercise in building levels around the original map titles for all 36 maps of the Ultimate Doom with an increasing emphasis on creating challenging but enjoyable maps that will even given experienced veterans a stern test (Especially for an Ultimate Doom megawad and especially so for episodes 3 and 4). All maps are built to a limit removing (complevel 3) format and are beatable from a pistol start, difficulty setting are included, but some may need a little refinement to pitch the difficulty with more precision. Co-op starts are included but anything beyond this will be patchy and dependent on the author who made the map.

Doom Redemption

A 'tribute' to Doom 1. All the styles of episodes 1, 2, 3 (and even 4) squished into a 9 map episode.

This wad doesn't use any ZDoom features that are not seen in the original doom, except for HUD messages at the start of each level, and of course the features that come with Hexen format maps.

The Ultimate Doom

The Ultimate Doom was included in Doom 3 Collector's Edition for the Xbox, which was released in 2005. This port includes an exclusive level, "Sewers". It featured multiplayer like the PC version, however not through Xbox Live. This port was programmed by Vicarious Visions. The Xbox version of Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil also contains this port.

This particular "port" actually appears to be an emulation of the aged DOS version of the game; furthermore, it seems to have been somewhat rushed, as it is somewhat limited in functionality, and has a few bugs and design quirks.

Spectrum

Well, maybe since Quake they are, but Doom is actually a pretty colourful game.
Just to prove it, here is a new episode for Ultimate Doom, using only standard textures and flats, and nary a hint of brown.

SPECTRUM is an Ultimate Doom (complevel 3) episode for limit removing ports. It features nine wholly new levels, a custom boss monster (sprites & sound by Eriance, dehacked by @Obsidian), and new music (by @Taw Tu'lki). It is primarily designed for pistol start single player, but is playable in continuous and/or co-op modes. Deathmatch is not supported. ﻿

ConC.E.R.Ned

3 episode wad for ultimate doom with the usual tech/hell tech/hell setup with a few exceptions from time to time. This is an expansion from my cbspeed.wad I realeased last August, so the first episode is an updated version of cbspeed with hopefully improved gameplay and layout flow. Episodes 2 and 3 were solely built from scratch. The wad is designed to hopefully give a varied and at times challenging gameplay experience.

Death Tormention: The Complete Trilogy

20 years after the release of the original Death Tormention. I present "The Death Tormention Trilogy". This compilation megawad contains all previously released 3 Death Tormention episodes in one megawad replacing Episode 2, Episode 3 and Episode 4 of the Ultimate Doom with improvements to gameplay and various bug fixes over the original. Also replacing Episode 1 is Simply Phobos.

Silence

This is my "oddly named but lovable beast of wad" (kalensar) that replaces Doom 1in the style of Doom the Way Id Did. To ensure vanilla compatibility, I've tested the wad in Chocolate Doom and cleaned up any issues I could find. This wad doesn't try to reinvent the wheel, just maybe grease up the axel a little bit. Also with the levels is a pack of midis I wrote and decided to include for use alongside the levels. That's right, the first 36 level ultimate doom megawad of 2022, and the only limit we removed was your imagination.

Mapgame

Mapgame is a nine-level Ultimate Doom mapset created by Fletcher`, and released on May 16, 2009. It is an episode 1 replacement for Boom-compatible ports, and includes several changes such as new textures and props, a new palette file, and a new enemy, the sentry unit, replacing the spider mastermind. Lastly, the chaingun is replaced by a flare gun.

Sinergy

Sick and tired of those custom wads full of boring old tech places, straightforward monster placement and non stop Romero'izms? Then you're in the wrong place because this wad is nothing but straight vintage Doom styled fun with everyone's favorite tropes such as pistol fights on beginning levels, misaligned textures, homages, a shit load of secrets and all round classic Doom gameplay! As is tradition each episode takes you to new locales and unleashes harder threats!

Infernovasion

An E1 replacement of ultimate doom that focuses on combat, storyline and atmospheric level design.

Oculus Malus

Sigil inspired map that replaces E3M1. It has a straight forward gameplay with one part being a small puzzle.

Soaked in Blood

A TWID-esque Ultimate Doom episode replacement, Soaked in Blood! It's a vanilla mapset in the style of Knee-Deep in the Dead with some modern twists. Ultra-Violence is the preferred difficulty though feel free to pick what suits your skills.

Perdition

DOOM: Perdition is a spiritual successor to Thy Flesh Consumed. At the end of your last crusade to Hell, the hideous wreck of the Spiderdemon leaves behind a gateway. Passing through it, you emerge in the green fields of Earth -- only to find that everything is not as it should be ...

Wonderful Doom

Wonderful Doom is a 2007 megawad for The Ultimate Doom created by Eugene Guschin (Wraith777), containing 36 levels created in the style of the original levels.

Awakening

After the epic horrors of DOOM and The Beginning of the End parts I and II you are a broken man. Demons haunt your mind and plague your sleep. Unable to cope, you are sent to a UAC medical facility that also happens to double as a radioactive toxic waste treatment plant. Here, along with the few other surviving scarred space marines, you are prescribed cryno-therapy. Your body is placed in suspended animation while your mind is flushed with chemicals and stimulants in order to cleanse the horrors from your psyche.
But something is wrong. As soon as you are put into stasis, you awaken again. Things are different. The building seems deserted and in shambles. No sounds are heard. You step out of your chrinochamber to a familiar smell. The smell of rancid flesh. The smell of death. You draw your pistol, which you never let leave your side no matter what the circumstances. You wonder if this nightmare will ever be over. You get the sense the worst is only beginning.

Crusades

Crusades: An Unholy War is a nine-level Ultimate Doom PWAD in episode four style made by Richard Wiles. It replaces maps E4M1-E4M9.

Atomic Tomb

A level for Ultimate Doom + a port that will up the vis-plane limit and is compatible with boom. Shortly after Deimos vanished, the hellspawn appeared on Mars and Earth. Blah Blah Blah, you are a private UAC marine stationed on Mars, and your buddies are gone. Grab your shotgun and take some of the uglies out!

The Hazard Variation

This is a map that was created in 2003 as "E4M1: First Gate" for the project "The Ninth Gate". However, as that project remained incomplete, this map was never released. Now that the maps from the project are being released individually, you can now play what would have opened that episode, retitled as "The Hazard Variation"!

The Outer Darkness

This map is heavily inspired by Episode 4 of The Ultimate Doom, especially E4M1 and E4M6. It was originally made for a project called The Ninth Gate that never saw the light of day.

Sillouhettes of Phobos

Sillouhettes of Phobos (a misspelling of Silhouettes of Phobos) is an Ultimate Doom replacement mod of four levels, created by Michael Lundy and released in November 1995. It consists of four spacious levels, the first three replacing the respective maps from Knee-Deep in the Dead, and the last bonus map taking up the E4M1 slot.

Sharp Things

Single map for Ultimate Doom created for the first Battle of the Bits Doom compo. In this spectacular adventure, you must wage a one-man war against a thorn bush in your backyard that happens to accidentally contain a portal to spiky hell. Time to break out the metaphorical weed whacker!

Simply Phobos

Simply Phobos (pe1_phob.wad) is an episode 1 replacement for Ultimate Doom by Paul Corfiatis in the style of Knee-Deep in the Dead, with a bonus secret level in the style of Inferno by Kristian Aro. It also includes a custom soundtrack by Paul Corfiatis.

Magic Doom

This is a full four-episode megawad and gameplay mod for The Ultimate Doom.What started as "I'll make a few vanilla maps" turned into 4 full episodes with some modified weapons and enemies. The focus for this project was to create lots of fast action, fun nonlinear layouts that don't take a huge amount of time to complete, and as little grind as possible, all within the restrictions of vanilla doom v1.9. To accommodate that goal, most weapons and monsters have been rebalanced in favor of speed and/or damage vs. tankiness.

Doom: Damnation

Doom: Damnation (DDAMN10.WAD) is a full four-episode replacement vanilla megawad, for The Ultimate Doom. It was released in February 2021, following an initial three-episode release in November 2016. It was designed by Ofisil, who also composed the soundtrack for it.
This mapset acts as a retelling of the original events that unfolded in The Ultimate Doom; the maps are designed with traditional gameplay in mind, combining action, exploration and atmosphere on abstract and semi-realistic environments, with the custom made OST occasionally adding a slight horror vibe.

Hell's Bane

This is a Boom compatible megawad replacement for The Ultimate Doom. It features 4 episodes with 9 levels each all themed in the vein of the original game. The levels are all levels that Chris Hansen has released either solo or as part of projects over the past 25 years. There are also a couple of new levels to fill in the gaps. "Hell's Bane" is oldschool Doom with a few Boom tricks behind the scenes.

Visions of Eternity

Visions of Eternity is an episode for Ultimate Doom. There is also a PDF booklet with additional information and trivia about the episode.

Doom: The Lost Episode

Le Gars Qui A Fait Doom

"Le Gars Qui A Fait Doom" Level Collection is a series of 8 new Ultimate Doom maps for Limit Removing ports. They come in all styles and colors, and all of them are more or less inspired by John Romero, whether it's his old IWad maps, his modern offerings (SIGIL and its sequel), his other games, or even his real life. You can play each of these maps in any order you fancy, as there's no clear theme or difficulty order. Each wad can be played standalone, à la Master Levels, and some of them contain new textures and resources.

Wretch

A replacement for Episode 2 of The Ultimate Doom, with nine maps made in vanilla format using primarily stock resources.

E4M1 remake

It's a short map (5-10 minutes) inspired by E4M1. The visuals are kept minimal to stay true to the spirit of the original map.

007: Licence to Spell Doom is a nine-level Ultimate Doom mapset for ZDoom by Stephen Clark (The Ultimate DooMer). It was released on December 24, 2002.

The player takes on the role of '007', a "Special Secret Service" agent (stated to be the protagonist of Stephen Clark's previous WADs, Fragport and Operation: Lightning). 007's mission is to assault the facilities of a terrorist organization called MISSILE, who are allied with the forces of Hell.

A remaster of Doom made in the KEX Engine, community-published mod support, original midi soundtrack or the modern IDKFA version by Andrew Hulshult, Improved performance with multithreaded rendering, BOOM source compatibility, accessibility options and translated into eight new languages.

Deadly Standards 4

A community made Episode 4 replacement for Ultimate Doom, sequel of the highly acclaimed and cacoward runner-up Deadly Standards episodic series. This time the classic stock assets theme got a rough deviation to more new assets, taken mostly from Alpha Doom and Romero dump of unused assets, as well as some other sources like Doomer Boards: Earth Ends and Ghostbusters Doom. Fight a terrifying world of a hell (on Earth?) that you never experienced before! Behold, the horrors of bureaucracy in a corporate world where anonymous towns are dominated by brutalism!

Cramunhão: A Sigil Tribute

Cramunhão is a tribute to John Romero's Sigil. It replaces the 4th episode of The Ultimate Doom. Inspired by the works of John Romero on Sigil, it started out as a single maps contest emulating the mechanics of Sigil, but ended up evolving into a full episode community project. It has contributions from well known mappers such as Daniel (NeoDoom, Final NeoDoom) and Deadwing (Ozonia, Moonblood), just as newcomers like Sca, who has made his first map ever for this mod (and also one inspired in the hospital his first son was born, at that very day).

Nostalgia Zero

Nostalgia Zero is a set of 36 maps in CL3 for The Ultimate Doom. This WAD uses exclusively vanilla textures and vanilla limits, with the target source port being Chocolate Doom. In terms of gameplay and level design it’s much closer to the IWAD than either of the Nostalgia WADs, though it does sometimes dip it’s toes into more modern tropes.

Shadows

Shadows is a very personal tribute to Death Bear's mapping origins and the journey they've been on the last four years. Shadows is a Vanilla Limit-Removing megawad, with Episode 1 inspired loosely by Knee Deep in the Dead. Each of the episodes follow similar themes as the original, with some personal flavor and some added twists.

Neptunian Nightmare

Neptunian Nightmare is a vanilla mapset and partial conversion for The Ultimate Doom (-complevel 3). It's an atmospheric romp heavily inspired by the Doom Bible and its associated prototypes, as well as Team TNT's TNT: Evilution and Icarus: Alien Vanguard.

Dead Sea Scrolls

Dead Sea Scrolls is a vanilla compatible (comp -3) episode replacement for Ultimate Doom. The "story" is a schlocky adventure with the real life mystery of the Dead Sea Scrolls and Abrahamic mythology sprinkled on top. Emphasis is on varied, approachable gameplay with anything from puzzle, stealth, horror, to light slaughter.﻿﻿

Operation Deadbolt

The UAC's experiments with terraforming, teleportation and energy weapons had long been of interest to various rival companies, but they refused any cooperation offers due to the sensitive nature of their resarch. It was only a matter of time before someone wormed their way into their workforce to see how the UAC ticked.

One such rival is Yoshikatsu Heavy Industries, specializing ﻿in bionics, industrial machinery, aerospace research and pharmaceutics. You've worked for them for a while, and they selected you to try and sneak your way into the UAC by posing as a maintenance technician.

Surprisingly, you were able to get in without much issue - they weren't even fazed by you hanging around board meetings on occasion, nor did they notice you kept tabs on the factory floor whenever you passed by. You're sure they didn't even bother looking into misplaced schematics, because you did as told and shredded sensitive data. Of course, you took a good look at it first thanks to your cyber eyes.

Things were going quite well until the facility you were at went into lockdown - no briefing, no coordination. Everyone quick enough to leave must have escaped, but everyone else? They're likely dead, given the place looked like a charnel house.

Except no one bothered informing the lowly pawns keeping the place running, which includes you.

With much more at stake than technical data, you retrieve the one weapon you ﻿brought along and decide it's time to bail.
