EvolvedPhoenix Studios is a dynamic game development studio founded by Glen in 2019. Glen, our visionary founder and CEO, has been passionately involved in the world of game development since 2016. What sets him apart is his journey from 2D game engines to mastering the realm of 3D game engines.

Glen's Story:
In 2016, Glen embarked on his game development journey with a focus on 2D game engines. Despite not having prior experience with 3D game engines, his dedication and enthusiasm led him to establish EvolvedPhoenix Studios in 2019. Glen's initial foray into game development was marked by his commitment to creating captivating experiences within the 2D gaming space.

The Turning Point:
The turning point in Glen's career came when he decided to venture into the realm of 3D game engines. In pursuit of this new challenge, Glen sought the guidance and mentorship of a close friend, Sonicboomcolt (Danyon). Under Danyon's tutelage, Glen began to unravel the intricacies of 3D game development and concurrently honed his skills in the programming language C#.

Learning and Evolution:
Since 2019, Glen has been on a continuous journey of learning, growth, and evolution. His dedication to mastering 3D game engines and C# reflects the core values of EvolvedPhoenix Studios – a commitment to innovation, creativity, and pushing the boundaries of game development.

Why is it called Project Gold?

This prototype is currently being developed in Unity. The name was inspired by the GoldSrc engine. This name may change as the project is developed into a full game.

What can you do in Project Gold?

In Project Gold you can pickup physics objects and throw them around and even throw explosive barrels for fun. More will be developed.
