Groove Games was a Canadian video game developer and publisher owned by Groove Media, Inc. It was founded in 2001 and located in Toronto, Ontario. The company quietly went out of business in 2009.

Hip Interactive was a provider of electronic entertainment products, including PC and video games, movies, video arcade games, and proprietary games, branded as Hip Games, and accessories, branded as Hip Gear. The company distributed all first party products, including SCEA, Microsoft and Nintendo hardware, software and accessories, as well as third party licensed video game software.

The company also operated through the European subsidiary Hip Interactive Europe based in Marseilles, formed through the acquisition of Light & Shadows Productions. Other companies tied to Hip are Arush Entertianment and Groove Media

On 11th July 2005 the company filed for bankruptcy

Pariah is a first-person shooter video game, developed by Brainbox Games, HIP Games and Digital Extremes. It was released on May 3, 2005 for Microsoft Windows and Xbox. It uses a modified version of the Unreal engine and the Havok physics engine. Pariah received mixed reviews from critics.[1]
