For more than 21 years, we’ve been leading the charge in running deep, community-driven live games and, as those games have grown in size, content and popularity, our communities are more active than ever.

We believe that everything that makes up this lasting bond between players and the games they love, be it in or outside of the game, has gone beyond the regular expectations of a live game to something we call living games.

A status of release where the game has gone gold. Typically this is referred to as 1.0.

Full Release

A status of a release that shows when the game was cancelled for a specific platform and region.

Cancelled

DarkScape was a variant of RuneScape, announced on 16 September 2015. It was a fork of the main RuneScape code as of late May 2015, featuring an open PvP environment without "safe zones". Furthermore, only Legacy Mode combat was available; everyone started at combat level 3; and progress in RuneScape did not affect DarkScape in any way.
