Contra (also known as Gryzor in Oceania and Europe), is a 1987 run and gun action game developed and published by Konami originally released as a coin-operated arcade game on February 20, 1987. The game had multiple ports, including for various computer formats. Several Contra sequels were produced following the original game.

Super Contra

Super Contra is a Run and Gun-style action game produced by Konami, originally released as a coin-operated arcade game in 1988. It is the sequel to the original Contra and the second game in the Contra series released for the arcades. Like in the original game, the game centers on soldiers Bill Rizer and Lance Bean, who are once again assigned to protect the Earth from an army of alien invaders. The game features standard side-scrolling stages, as well as all new overhead stages in lieu of the original game's "3D" stages.

Contra III: The Alien Wars

This game is action from beginning to end, do not think that you will have a moment of peace, even because Aliens are at war with planet earth, and resting will be your least concern.

Contra 4

The action franchise that started it all is celebrating its 20th anniversary with an all-new adventure on Nintendo DS! Set after the events of Contra III: Alien Wars, the game follows mercenaries Bill Rizer and Lance Bean as they battle to save the world from a new extraterrestrial threat. Contra 4 takes advantage of the dual screens of the Nintendo DS to deliver larger than life action, with massive enemies, detailed platforming and mind-blowing set pieces.

Konami’s LCD port of Contra. Gameplay handles similar to the base stages. The player progresses forward in a pseudo-3D environment as foot soldiers and xenomorph aliens approach and attack.

There are a total of 3 levels. Each level is completed by destroying central targets on a wall that are guarded by enemies and missiles; the targets are collectively termed Falcon Phaso-Sensors. The player automatically runs through each corridor, which progressively increases in distance, during which soldiers and aliens are confronted; at the end of each are the boss battles, the sensors.
