Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Super Smash Bros. Brawl is the third installment in the Super Smash Bros. series and the follow-up to Super Smash Bros. Melee. This edition introduces super attacks referred to as final smashes, as well as a brand-new adventure mode in The Subspace Emissary which is a side-scrolling adventure in the style of a platformer. It retains all basic mechanics of the Super Smash Bros. series, such as a damage meter, stocks, and Smash-style attacks.

A status of release where the game has gone gold. Typically this is referred to as 1.0.

Full Release

Brawl Plus is one of the first mods released for Super Smash Bros. Brawl, primarily intended for competitive play, but includes many quality of life features, such as the removal of random tripping and separated character icons for Sheik, Zelda, and the Pokémon Trainer.

It was abandoned following Version 7.0.3 in 2010, with most moving on to the mod's spiritual successor, Project M.
