Arcade Classics

Arcade Classics offers three classic Atari titles. It includes the following games: Missile Command, Centipede and Pong (Ultrapong: both Pong and Hockey). All games have selectable difficulty options. They contain a classic mode as well as a SEGA mode in the Game Gear version, which enhances the graphics and adds new sound effects.

Centipede

Centipede is a vertically-oriented shoot 'em up arcade game produced by Atari, Inc. in 1980. The game was designed by Ed Logg along with Dona Bailey, one of the few female game programmers in the industry at this time. It was also the first arcade coin-operated game to have a significant female player base. The player defends against swarms of insects, completing a round after eliminating the centipede that winds down the playing field.

Enter the world of the Wee People and do your best to save them from the QueenPede, who will stop at nothing to destroy this peaceful race of humanoids. In this remake of the classic Atari game, players take the role of Wally, the village's humble bean counter, as he is quickly recruited to man the village bug shooter and sent off to save the colony from the ruthless QueenPede and her destructive subjects -- the spiders, scorpions, and fleas -- as she sets out to conquer the peaceful wee people. Work your way through all-new 3D worlds with new weapons and skills. And if you're really good, you might just discover the original Centipede.

Arcade Classics is a Sega Genesis/Mega Drive game compilation featuring three classic arcade games: Pong, Missile Command, and Centipede, plus a revised Sega version of each one. A version of the game was also released for the Sega Game Gear, with Ultrapong replacing Pong.

Millipede

Millipede is a 1982 arcade game by Atari, Inc. and is the sequel to the arcade hit, Centipede. The objective of the game is to score as many points as possible by destroying all segments of the millipede as it moves toward the bottom of the screen, as well as destroying and avoiding other enemies. The game is played with a trackball and a single fire button, which can be held down for rapid-fire. The game is over when the player's last life is lost.

Centipede: Infestation

Centipede: Infestation is a video game developed by WayForward Technologies and published by Atari, SA for the Nintendo Wii and the Nintendo 3DS. It is a re-imagining of the Centipede video game franchise.

Centipede: Infestation is set in a post-apocalyptic world, and features a "run 'n' gun" shooting style gameplay with a mix of tower-defense style objects. The player's goal is to fight off giant bugs while seeking to use special seeds to bring plant life back to the world. Players control a character named Max as well as secondary character named Maisy who possesses a collection of special needs. She is often in need of rescue. The game has co-op gameplay,and a wide variety of weapons and stages. The co-op part of the game features a selection of characters to choose from and it is much easier to get through the game with a friend.

Arcade Classic No. 2: Centipede / Millipede

A compilation of two classic games, Centipede and Millipede ported over to the Game Boy system with original gameplay. It is also compatible with the Super Game Boy Adapter with backgrounds made to resemble their original arcade casings.

Pong

Pong is a table tennis-themed twitch arcade video game with simple two-dimensional graphics. It was the first sports arcade video game and one of the earliest arcade video games in history, helping to establish the video game industry along with the Magnavox Odyssey. Soon after its release, several companies began producing games that closely mimicked its gameplay.

Pong: The Next Level

The classic videogame Pong is getting a 32-bit update. Players control a long, flat rectangular rod and maneuver it up and down the screen to defend their goal. The opponent is trying to direct the ball past you and into your goal the player who reaches the level's preset point total first wins the match. There are six zones filled with all kinds of Pong challenges, each with three distinct and increasingly difficult variations on that level. Most one-on-one games also include power-ups that you can collect, which will benefit you in some fashion against your opponent.

Rebound

Rebound is a 2 player arcade game that simulates a volleyball match by having players volley a ball back and forth over a net with their paddles.

Pong Doubles

A follow-up to the original Pong, Pong Doubles is essentially a four-player version of the original. Two players stand on each side of the dividing line, one in front, the other behind. Each pair must work as a team against the other pair. Aside from this, nothing else has changed except the fact that there are now four paddles.

Super Pong

Pong with three paddles per player and better ball physics.

Quadrapong

Quadrapong is a four-player version of Pong by Atari Inc. subsidiary Kee Games, and designed by Steve Bristow.

Quadrapong was the first cocktail cabinet arcade video game. The cabinet consists of a woodgrain 35" x 37" cocktail cabinet. Two control paddles are mounted on each side of the cabinet, with a horizontally mounted Zenith television diagonally set in the cabinet.

Two, three, or four players move their paddles to defend their goal area, consisting of openings in the players' walls. Each player starts with four points, and loses one point each time the ball penetrates their goal. If all four points are lost the player's paddle is removed and the goal "closes", creating a solid wall and removing the player from the game. The game continues until only one player is left.
