Day of the Tentacle, también conocido como Maniac Mansion II: Day of the Tentacle, es un videojuego de aventura gráfica de 1993 desarrollado y publicado por LucasArts. Es la secuela del juego Maniac Mansion, de 1987. La trama del juego sigue a Bernard Bernoulli y a sus amigos Hoagie y Laverne mientras intentan impedir que el malvado Tentáculo Púrpura —un tentáculo consciente y sin cuerpo— se apodere del mundo. El jugador controla a los tres y resuelve acertijos mientras usa los viajes en el tiempo para explorar diferentes épocas de la historia.

Dave Grossman y Tim Schafer codirigieron el desarrollo del juego, siendo esta su primera vez en ese papel. La pareja incorporó una cantidad limitada de elementos de Maniac Mansion y prescindió de la selección de personajes para simplificar el desarrollo. Entre sus fuentes de inspiración se encontraban los dibujos animados de Chuck Jones y la historia de los Estados Unidos. Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy is a 2001 platform video game developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the Sony PlayStation 2 on December 4, 2001, as the first game of the Jak and Daxter series. The game follows the protagonist, a young teenager named Jak, as he tries to help his friend Daxter after he is transformed into an "ottsel", a fictional hybrid of an otter and a weasel.

The game offers a large range of missions, collectables and objectives, often in the form of minigames, which provide a variety of gameplay experiences, as well as puzzles and platforming stages, which are completed by the player to proceed with the story.

Jak II is an open-world platform, third-person shooter, and an action-adventure video game. It is the second game of the Jak and Daxter series and a sequel to Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy.

Ratchet &amp; Clank es un juego de plataformas y aventuras similar a las versiones en 3D de Rayman, Sonic, Mario y otros títulos. En él, los dos protagonistas, Ratchet —una criatura alienígena peluda— y Clank —un pequeño robot friki—, se embarcan en una misión para encontrar al capitán Qwark y, en última instancia, ayudar a salvar la galaxia.

Ratchet &amp; Clank incluye muchas de las mejores características de otros juegos similares anteriores, pero se distingue por varios aspectos. En primer lugar, cada uno de los niveles del juego ofrece vistas panorámicas enormes con edificios muy detallados que se ven en todo momento (es decir, no hay neblina de distancia). Full Throttle es un videojuego de aventuras desarrollado y publicado por LucasArts. Lo diseñó Tim Schafer, quien más tarde pasaría a diseñar Grim Fandango, Psychonauts y Brütal Legend. Maniac Mansion is a 1987 graphic adventure video game developed and published by Lucasfilm Games. It follows teenage protagonist Dave Miller as he attempts to rescue his girlfriend from a mad scientist, whose mind has been enslaved by a sentient meteor. The player uses a point-and-click interface to guide Dave and two of his six playable friends through the scientist's mansion while solving puzzles and avoiding dangers. Gameplay is nonlinear, and the game must be completed in different ways based on the player's choice of characters. Initially released for the Commodore 64 and Apple II, Maniac Mansion was Lucasfilm Games' first self-published product.

Sam & Max Hit the Road is a graphic adventure video game released by LucasArts during the company's adventure games era. The game was originally released for MS-DOS in 1993 and for Mac OS in 1995. A 2002 re-release included compatibility with Windows. The game is based on the comic characters of Sam and Max, the "Freelance Police", an anthropomorphic dog and "hyperkinetic rabbity thing". The characters, created by Steve Purcell, originally debuted in a 1987 comic book series. Based on the 1989 Sam & Max comic On the Road, the duo take the case of a missing bigfoot from a nearby carnival, traveling to many Americana tourist sites to solve the mystery.

The game features new weapons and devices, new playable areas, and a storyline that picks up after the events of the previous games. As in the other games in the series, the player takes on the dual role of recurring protagonists Jak and Daxter.

Discworld is a game released for PC (subsequently Mac, and Playstation) by Teeny Weeny / Perfect 10 studios in 1995. The game was released both on floppy disk and CD-Rom. The latter featured a commentary team created of many veterans of famous Brit-Coms. This included Monty Python's Eric Idle, Radio 4's (later to be more famous) Rob Brydon, ex- Doctor Who John Pertwee, 70s pop singer Kate Robbins, and Blackadder star Tony Robinson. The game is a riff on the Discworld title 'Guards, Guards', however many elements of the text have been shifted, not least the inclusion of Rincewind as protagonist.

The game featured puzzles which were considered far too difficult and obtuse for gamers of the time, but the game itself has had a lasting legacy, now being accepted into such emulators as SCUMMVM.

The characters can travel between a variety of locations in the game using their black and white 1960 DeSoto Adventurer, which, when selected, will present the player with a list of available destinations. The DeSoto is also used for several driving sequences, usually involving pursuing or fleeing criminals in other vehicles. In these driving sequences, the player can use Sam's gun, the car's horn, or have Max attempt to communicate with other vehicles via a megaphone. In addition, special inventory items may be used to complete specific puzzles within these sequences. Driving sequences are also used for several minigames, such as pulling innocent drivers over for fabricated felonies.

In keeping with the developer's heritage from the LucasArts adventure games, Sam & Max Save the World is designed so that the player characters cannot die or reach a complete dead-end.

Everybody has remembered waking up early on the weekend to watch Saturday morning cartoons. But would would happen if the cartoons were interactive? Well, you might end up with something like Death Valley Rally. The object is pretty simple: Race the Road Runner through each level as quickly as you can while collecting different colored flags, which are worth different amounts of points. When you reach the ending, if you're fast enough, you'll also get a time bonus, but if you're good enough, you'll get a flag bonus. Some of the flags are INCREDIBLY difficult to find, and the fact that you won't usually be able to find them, will challenge (or at least frustrate) most gamers. You can run, turbo run (by stocking up on bird seed), peck, and jump in this wild adventure, as you try to catch the escape the ever-witty Wile E. Coyote and his assorted ACME contraptions.
