Unreal Tournament 2004 es un juego de disparos en primera persona multijugador que combina la experiencia de «matar o morir» del combate de gladiadores con tecnología de vanguardia. Diez modos de juego —tanto por equipos como «sálvese quien pueda»— ofrecen incluso al jugador más empedernido desafíos que te harán sudar las manos en arenas interiores increíblemente detalladas y vastos entornos al aire libre. Como el gladiador tecnológico definitivo del futuro, los jugadores tomarán las riendas de su destino, luchando contra hasta 32 jugadores más en línea en arenas repletas de acción y de bajas.

Modo Asalto: ¡vuelve el modo Asalto! Rediseñado para UT2004, este modo favorito de los fans enfrenta a los equipos para defender y atacar bases fortificadas, desde trenes a toda velocidad que atraviesan un árido desierto alienígena hasta una nave nodriza Skaarj, lista para atacar el mundo natal de los humanos.

Modo Onslaught: ¡el modo Onslaught lleva el combate por equipos al siguiente nivel! Los equipos rivales se enfrentan para capturar y mantener puntos estratégicos con el fin de atacar y destruir el núcleo de energía enemigo. Ambientado en enormes escenarios al aire libre, aquí es donde el combate con vehículos cobra todo su sentido. Máquinas voladoras y terrestres llevan a los combatientes al frente, y gigantescas estaciones de batalla móviles sirven de plataforma desde la que lanzar ataques devastadores.

Vehículos - Acelera y sal a la batalla con una gran variedad de vehículos terrestres, aéreos y espaciales que desempeñan un papel fundamental en una estrategia de combate exitosa en los modos Asalto y Embestida. Con vehículos que van desde cazas monoplaza hasta gigantescos colosos para cinco personas, Unreal Tournament 2004 ofrece a los jugadores un montón de opciones a la hora de elegir su máquina de destrucción.

Niveles: habrá más de 95 mapas disponibles desde el primer momento, incluyendo más de 45 mapas totalmente nuevos para todos los modos de juego existentes, así como nuevos modos de juego. Nuevos personajes: Unreal Tournament 2004 presenta 32 nuevos personajes repartidos en cuatro equipos nuevos: los humanos Thunder Crash, liderados por el héroe del torneo, Malcolm; los Robotic Corrupt, liderados por un Xan Kriegor mejorado; los Iron Skull, un equipo de despiadados guerreros Skaarj; y los Hellions, mercenarios y piratas humanos temerarios que disfrutan con la emoción de matar.

Highway Hunter

Highway Hunter is a DOS-based video game created in 1994. It was developed by Omega Integral Systems, released by Safari Software, and distributed by Epic MegaGames (now Epic Games).

The game uses a top-down view. The player's car is situated on a raised highway. The ground is visible on the sides. The player's car is constantly moving upwards through the level, though the player can maneuver his car around the screen within the boundaries of the highway. The player fires at enemies that come from the top of the screen. There are ground enemies on the highway and flying enemies that can come in from the sides or the top. Some enemies may drop weapon power ups which make the player car's projectiles stronger or more numerous. The game is divided into three episodes each with a number of levels, with a boss at the end of each level. The shareware version omits the second and third episodes. The highway environments start out looking earthly, but the player moves into more alien levels later in the game.
