Fox Video Games made the first leap into licensing the Alien property for video games with what was essentially a Pac-Man clone skinned with elements from the 1979 film. Players controlled a human collecting Alien eggs (dots) and small planet and spaceship symbols (fruits) in a maze abroad the USCSS Nostromo while avoiding Alien drones (ghosts).

Drones could be killed by shooting them with a flamethrower or collecting symbols that would stun them (flashing dots).

CD-Man

CD-Man is a Pac-Man clone for PC DOS. It features 5 different worlds in EGA graphics.

The Apple II is an 8-bit home computer, one of the first highly successful mass-produced microcomputer products, designed primarily by Steve Wozniak, manufactured by Apple Computer (now Apple Inc.) and introduced in 1977. It is the first model in a series of computers which were produced until Apple IIe production ceased in November 1993.

Lock 'n' Chase is a 1981 maze arcade game developed and published by Data East in Japan in 1981, and later published in North America by Taito. Lock 'n' Chase was Data East's response to Pac-Man. The game's main character is a thief. The object of the game is to enter a maze and collect all the coins and, if possible, any other treasure that may appear. The thief must then exit the maze (a vault) without being apprehended by the Super D (policemen). The thief can close doorways within the maze in order to temporarily trap the Super D and allow him to keep his distance from them. Only two doors can be closed at a time. The Super D policemen are named Stiffy, Scaredy, Smarty, and Silly.

Players drive a car around a maze collecting greenbacks while being pursued by a number of police cars. Use dollar symbols to make your car invincible and put police cars temporarily out of action. The game uses a continuous loop tape with actual police band radio banter.

Jawbreaker is a video game programmed by John Harris and released in 1981 for the Atari 400/800 by On-line Systems.

Originally intended to be a fairly straight Pac-Man clone, Jawbreaker emerged as a relatively inventive version with unique gameplay. It was widely lauded by reviewers, and became a major seller for Sierra Online. The story of its creation forms a portion of Steven Levy's book, Hackers.

GobMan

GobMan is a shareware MS-DOS game made in 1992 by Filipe Mateus, a Canadian software developer. GobMan is highly remniscent of Pac-Man with a yellow proteagonist traversing multiple mazes eating dots and eluding ghosts.

In the shareware version of the game, ten stages are available which repeat after they are completed. If a player were to buy a registered version of the game, they would be given fifty more stages.

The game adds many different power-ups and layouts for the maze differentiating it from the traditional Pac-Man design. Alongside the "power pill" for eating ghosts and "food" bonuses, the game offers a "bomb" power-up to destroy all enemies, an "hourglass" to stop time briefly, and a "red pill" to make the walls disappear for a time. Extra lives are gained after every 10,000 points.

The J.League Winning Eleven series is exclusive to Japan and has been released since 2007 before the release of Pro Evolution Soccer and World Soccer: Winning Eleven. Prior to 2007, the game was released after the earlier games were released.

J.League Winning Eleven '98-'99 is the officially licensed action soccer game based on the second stage of the 1998 J.League season. It is the follow-up to J.league '97 and Winning Eleven 3. The series is well known for its smooth gameplay and simplicity of controls.

Cruncher Factory is a Pac-Man variant. The player commands a cruncher (which looks exactly like Pac-Man) and steers him through non-scrolling labyrinths shown from the side. On every place not occupied with a wall are pills which have to be eaten by rolling over the field they are on. There are also ghosts which cause the player to lose a life when touched - at least until the cruncher eats a special ball which causes him to eat the ghosts. A level is won when all balls are eaten.

The game features 100 levels, a level editor (can be also used to change the existing levels) and a two-player mode.

OK kiddies, let's play a little game. I'll start describing the scenario of this cute little original game by Bubble Bus, and you tell me when you think you can guess the game before it loads All right ? Here we go:

"... Living in a haunted mansion isn't much fun, especially when the ghouls take over. Muncher man must gather up all the food before the ghouls get him !'

No, Muncher Man does not come from Munich, and I don't know why he doesn't get his food from the nearest McDonalds. Maybe he's a trendy veggie? I see you're going to need further clues.

Muncher Man's house looks suspiciously like a maze, with lots of little round bits of food in it (Not yet! Wait a bit). You have to wander about the maze, eating the food, and avoiding the ghouls (now you can start guessing).

When you eat a special pill (left over from a previous police raid), you can chase and eat the ghouls (but go easy on the spirits), getting a large bonus from your local exorcist as you do so.(You must have it by now). Fruits pop up in the maze at random.

What do you mean, "I haven't got it yet?" Insert tape in ear, press any key and re-read from start. This fiippin' well is Pac Man, however deceptive the picture of the dinosaur might be on the cover. Mind you, with names like Classic Muncher, Back Man, or Ghost Gobbling or some such, waddya expect? Asteroids?

You certainly don't get many hints from the loading screen - there isn't one. Another missing link is the sound effects - not exactly stunning, to say the least. At least you can use your own idea of keyboard and/or joystick layout.

The sneaky bit that got me at the end of the first screen was that they went and changed the maze around. You don't see that on many Pac Man clones, though this one certainly swiped enough memory for several different maps.

If you're into being grabbed by the ghoulies in the hedges with some fruit, then you could do worse than buy this one. Bubble Bus are currently running a competition on the high scores. The prize, more software. But don't let that influence you unnecessarily.

While few young people aspire to the role of a Dustman, New Generation Software felt they would enjoy pretending to be one on this innovative arcade game.

Each section presents you with a road of houses, drawn from forced-perspective 3D, with flick-scrolling as you move up the road. Each house's dustbin must be collected, emptied and replaced within the time limit, which is indicated by the Bonus timer at the top of the screen. If this reaches zero, you receive the first of 3 warnings - a third sees you out of a job.

Setting foot on the grass causes the bonus to drop more quickly, and there are additional hazards to avoid, including the local cars, which appear to be driven by maniacs, and cyclists and barking dogs, which can both injure you and cause your movement to slow.
