Resident Evil 6 is the ninth video game installment in the Resident Evil series. It continues the struggle against zombies infected by the new highly virulent C-virus. The game uses the same over-the-shoulder view as Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, however with a new gameplay mechanic that allows players to slowly move while shoot. Players can select between three scenarios featuring multiple characters and intertwined storylines, and within these scenarios both stories and action cross paths. At key moments during the game, up to four players can join together online to tackle a specific situation, with some stages seeing the usual partnerships swapped to further increase the depth of gameplay.

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth es un juego roguelike con vista cenital y niveles generados proceduralmente, una nueva versión basada en el juego original The Binding of Isaac. Ambientado justo después del apocalipsis zombi, el modo cooperativo de supervivencia de L4D te permite abrirte paso a tiros entre los infectados en cuatro «películas» únicas, guiando a tus supervivientes por los tejados de una metrópolis abandonada, a través de pueblos fantasma rurales y bosques a oscuras en tu intento por escapar de una Zona Cero devastada y plagada de enemigos infectados. Cada «película» consta de cinco mapas grandes y puede jugarse con entre uno y cuatro jugadores humanos, con énfasis en la estrategia y los objetivos en equipo.

Se utiliza una nueva tecnología denominada «el Director de IA» para generar una experiencia de juego única cada vez que juegas. El Director adapta la frecuencia y la ferocidad de los ataques zombis a tu rendimiento, situándote en medio de una película de terror de Hollywood trepidante, pero sin llegar a ser abrumadora.

Final Fantasy VIII es la octava entrega principal de la serie Final Fantasy. La jugabilidad se aleja de muchos de los estándares de la serie. Aunque sigue usando el sistema de combate en tiempo real (Active Time Battle), se desvía de la forma tradicional de la serie de aumentar el poder de un personaje subiendo de nivel, aunque los niveles no se abandonan por completo como en Final Fantasy II. Además, no tiene un sistema basado en puntos mágicos para lanzar hechizos. Oddworld: Abe&#x27;s Oddysee es el primer juego ambientado en el universo ficticio de Oddworld. Se trata de un juego de plataformas con elementos de resolución de puzles, centrado en la representación de un personaje débil y sin grandes poderes en un mundo sombrío y hostil, que tiene que confiar en su astucia para burlar a los enemigos y superar los peligros. El protagonista, Abe, está casi completamente indefenso: no puede usar armas y, por lo general, sus brutales enemigos lo matan al instante si se enfrenta a ellos directamente. Por esta razón, la mayor parte del juego consiste en explorar con cuidado, moverse con precisión, escabullirse y burlar a los enemigos por diversos medios: lanzar piedras para confundirlos, atraerlos a trampas, etc. Abe puede correr, saltar, trepar, andar de puntillas, agacharse y rodar; en la mayoría de las zonas, estas acciones son esenciales para su supervivencia. Players control a set of troops who specialize in various fighting, healing, magic, and archery skills (or job classes). Strategically positioning characters on the battle map, and calculating offensive advances are the keys to success. Two players can battle and trade items with the aid of the GBA link cable.

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King es la octava entrega de la serie Dragon Quest, desarrollada por Level-5 y publicada por Square Enix para la consola PlayStation 2. Posteriormente, en 2015, también se lanzó para Nintendo 3DS. Se trata de un juego de rol tradicional japonés con encuentros aleatorios con enemigos, mecánicas de combate sencillas por turnos y la gestión de un grupo de cuatro personajes, cada uno perteneciente a una clase claramente definida. A diferencia de sus predecesores en la serie y de la mayoría de los juegos de rol japoneses en general, el juego presenta un mundo continuo con paisajes bastante extensos y ciudades y mazmorras integradas, en lugar de un mapa del mundo donde las ubicaciones se representan mediante iconos. El juego cuenta con rotación completa de la cámara y vista opcional en primera persona. Al igual que en los juegos anteriores de Dragon Quest, se puede interactuar con muchos objetos; por ejemplo, los barriles se pueden levantar, transportar y romper para revelar objetos ocultos en su interior.

Killzone 3

Killzone 3 is the fourth game in the Killzone franchise. Several improvements have been made over its prequel, and it can be seen in overall smoother and more balanced gameplay. As in previous game, you will commandeer various turrets and vehicles which will add to firepower but will leave you with rails-driven gameplay. One of the new weapons is a jet-pack which lets you jump and semi-fly with unlimited ammo as a part of new exoskeleton. The environment can sometimes be destroyed or used to your advantage, shooting barrels or certain plants will take out nearby enemy soldiers. Beside single-player campaign, Killzone 3 offers an upgraded version of Killzone 2's multiplayer. The game is also the first in the franchise to support 3D TVs.

Painkiller

Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus

Abe’s peaceful retirement was shattered when visited by a vision from the Three Weirdos. Abe learned the Magog Cartel was mining Necrum, the sacred Mudokon city of the dead, to collect bones to make super-addictive SoulStorm Brew.

After freeing the Mudokon spirits imprisoned in the Mudanchee and Mudomo Vaults, Abe gained scary powers from the Weirdos, including the ability to heal his Mudokon friends of SoulStorm addiction, and the power to turn invisible. Infiltrating the transportation hub of FeeCo Depot, and using explosive farts to survive adventures at the Slig Barracks and Bonewerks, Abe broke into SoulStorm Brewery.

There Abe learned the truth behind the secret ingredient of SoulStorm Brew... just before blasting the place to atoms with the combined power of the sobered-up Mudokon he’d rescued. Final Fantasy III is a remake and a complete overhaul of the 1990 version with the same title. This allowed western players to finally experience the classic Final Fantasy game localized for the very first time. The graphics are rendered in full 3D and various changes have been implemented.

The story revolves around an interconnected cast of characters that possess a power which enables them to see and hear what a nearby character sees. The game was followed by a PlayStation 2 sequel, a reimagining for the PlayStation 3 and a film adaption.

Siren is divided into stages, each taking place in one of ten areas in the village of Hanuda, and organized chronologically in a table called the "Link Navigator". In order to complete a stage, the player must accomplish a primary objective that usually involves reaching an exit point, subduing undead enemies called "Shibito", or finding an item. Objectives in different stages are interconnected via a butterfly effect, and a character's actions in one stage can trigger a secondary objective in another stage.

There are miscellaneous items scattered throughout each stage that give the player further insight into the plot's background. Once obtained, these items are archived in a catalog and can be viewed at any time during the game's duration. The game's player characters possess a psychic power named "sightjack," which enables them to see and hear what a nearby Shibito or human sees and hears, and thus pinpoint its position, as well as gain knowledge of their activities and of the position of obtainable items. The clarity of each target depends on the distance from the player character. Once a point of view is located, it can be assigned to one of certain buttons of the controller to easily switch between multiple points of view. However, the player character is unable to move during use of the ability and is thus vulnerable to attack.

The game encourages the player to avoid Shibito rather than fight them. Characters can walk silently, avoid the use of a flashlight, and crouch behind objects to elude detection. Certain mission objectives require the player character to use items and/or the environment to distract Shibito from their activity, in order for them to achieve a goal. Others require the player to escort a non-player character. Player characters can also shout at any time in order to get the attention of nearby Shibito. Within most stages, the player character can hide in certain places such as cupboards and lock doors to prevent Shibito from entering. When a Shibito hears a sound made by the player character, it will search in the direction from which they heard the sound. If a character is seen by a Shibito, the latter will pursue the character to kill them either with a melee or ranged weapon or by strangulation. The Shibito will also shout to alert other nearby Shibito. Once the character has remained out of the Shibito's sight for a period of time, the Shibito will give up and resume its usual habits. Weapons are available for the player throughout the game, ranging from melee weapons to firearms. While Shibito can be knocked out in combat, they cannot be killed and will reanimate after a short period of time. If a character is injured, they can recover after some time has passed. Characters will lose stamina during combat and while running.
