Yakouga

It is an orthodox shooter that uses shots and bombs to progress.
Collecting crystals released by enemies will power up your shots. There is no upper limit to the level of your shots, so the more you repeat, the stronger they will become.
You can accumulate bombs by hitting enemy bullets.
When you kill an enemy, it will explode with surrounding enemy bullets, and adjacent enemy bullets will detonate more and more.

A side-scrolling shooter that uses acceleration and deceleration to progress.
It's quite difficult.

Yakouga 3

This is the story of Nokundi's childhood before they became a carefree and easy-going personality.
In order to rescue her mother who is held in the "Nightmare Prizon", Nokundi the crybaby ventures through a vast labyrinth filled with scary monsters and vicious traps.

Yakouga 4

This is a game for people who like shooting, but can't make it to the end because they're not very good at it......
Sold alongside an "All-Ages Edition".

Yakouga 6

Takes place after Yakouga 5, but with no story relationship. Another gore-filled violent shmup from Akiragoya.

Yakouga 7

It is an exploratory ARPG.
Simply collect moves, register them in the [Combo Slot], and hold down the [Combo Button] to perform continuous attacks.
In addition to combo moves, there is also a [Slam Move], where you can use the arrow keys + [Slam button] to attack such as launching and flapping.
After the launch move, you can hold ↑ to make a follow-up jump, make some cool aerial combos.

There aren't many elements like Yakouga 3 where you collect items and pave the way.
It feels like repeating the battle endlessly and increasing the attack rate of each map.

The story is completely independent and can be enjoyed without knowing the past works.

Yakouga 9

Originally Yakouga 8, this game was finished and bundled alongside the demo for Shuuen no Archetype. Split into two playable characters, Miyumi and Nokundhi. A third character is planned.
