Who Wants to Be a Millionaire

The game is based on the hit TV quiz show Who Wants to be a Millionaire? PC and Console games players can now experience for themselves the excitement and tension of the TV show as they try and win one million virtual pounds. The UK version of the game features audio clips of the TV show's host Chris Tarrant, who will be asking the questions, giving the answers, and of course, uttering the famous line, "Is that your final answer?"; other localized versions have different hosts/voices, in addition to using questions suitable for each country.

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire: Party Edition

It's time to ask once again, Who Wants to be a Millionaire? This 2006 entry in the series (based on the original UK show) reinvents the series with a new cast of crazy characters, new game modes and a more complete multiplayer game. The challenge, as always, is to answer 15 questions to win a million, using your Life Lines to get yourself through the tough questions if you think you need help. Now you get to choose your on-screen contestant from 16 unique and eager contestants in an authentic Millionaire experience hosted by Chris Tarrant. Up to four people can compete in the multiplayer, which is now bursting with options including a quick fire round, Millionaire party and a play or pass mode in which you can pass difficult questions over to another player. There are 4,000 brand new questions in this version, plus there is an added feature where players who bag the big Millionaire pound prize are given a code they can enter on the game's website, so they can brag about their feat with other virtual millionaires.

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire: Junior is a quiz game based on the successful TV show for one to four players. The basic rules are still the same: The player takes the role of a candidate and has to answer 15 questions by choosing the correct answer out of four given possibilities. For every right answer they receive money with the amount doubling with each correct answer. There are also the same three help options as in the televised game: 50:50 which eliminates two false answers, asking the studio 'audience' and phoning a friend, in the game the latter is a prerecorded conversion.

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? the video game features all the TV Show Quiz Game's assets and structure. There are 15 questions that will take you from a virtual 100 to 1 million. There are 4 answers to each question and only one of the answers is correct. Use the Wii Remote to choose the answer you think is correct. If you're right, you will win the virtual value for that question and move onto the next level.

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire: Sports Edition

The TV show of 2000 continues with this PC title, dedicated to Sports. There are 700 sports related questions in all, with the famous three lifelines available to use (Ask the Audience, Phone a Friend and 50/50). Add to that Regis Philbin pushing you along to your quest of a (fake) million in cash. It's the closest you'll get to the real thing. Regis that is.
