Viewtiful Joe: Double Trouble!

You can play a movie action hero turned real action hero in Viewtiful Joe: Double Trouble. Viewtiful Joe: Double Trouble is a cel-shaded, side-scrolling action game that combines both puzzle-solving and platformer gameplay. Viewtiful Joe: Double Trouble makes use of both screens and the touch capabilities of the Nintendo DS to help you solve puzzles and progress through the game. Joe's sister, Jasmine, also makes her first appearance in the series to help him out.

The PlayStation 2 port of Viewtiful Joe adds an easier difficulty mode, Sweet, and a new playable character, Dante, from the Devil May Cry series.

Originally intended to be the fourth installment in the Resident Evil series, Devil May Cry is an action-adventure game that introduced a host of new elements to the gaming community. The game is split into Missions, which are individually scored according to various factors, such as Orbs gathered and damage taken. Additionally, Devil May Cry did away with the pre-rendered backgrounds of prior Resident Evil games in order to allow for a dynamic camera system.

Devil May Cry 2 is the sequel to Devil May Cry. From the start of the game, the player controls Dante or his new partner Lucia through various levels as they battle waves of demons. This game features an Amulet system, with different parts being acquired throughout the levels that can be equipped by accessing the pause menu. The different parts of the amulet can be equipped to change aspects of the characters Devil Triggers form like elemental moves, time stop abilities, faster movement, flight abilities, etc.

Project X Zone

Project X Zone is a crossover tactical role-playing game for the Nintendo 3DS. The game is a follow up to the video game Namco × Capcom and features characters from Namco Bandai, Capcom, and Sega. Stages in Project X Zone take place in grid-based locations from the game's many crossover titles. Each friendly unit is made up of two characters (thus referred to as a Pair Unit), though a third character (or "Solo Unit") can be added for once-per-battle assistance. Unlike Namco × Capcom, units can move freely within their range on the field map, with no penalty for accessing treasure chests or destructible objects prior to attacking.

Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All Stars

In Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, players engage in combat with teams of two characters - owned by Capcom or Tatsunoko Production - and attempt to knock out their opponents. The game is set in a 2.5D environment; characters fight in a two-dimensional arena, but character models and backgrounds are rendered in three-dimensional graphics.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds

Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds is a crossover fighting game developed by Capcom in collaboration with Eighting. The standalone update was released in November 2011, and featured additional characters, stages, and gameplay tweaks.

Clover Studio was an independent Japanese video game development studio funded by Capcom. It consisted largely of existing Capcom R&D talent, who had formed the company to give themselves greater executive control (and thus creative freedom), like Sega's semi-autonomous studios in the early 2000s. The studio focused largely on creating new intellectual property rather than sequels. When these failed to perform on par with Capcom's more popular series, Capcom attempted to merge the studio back into their internal R&D. Those at the studio chose instead to leave the company, and Clover was dissolved. Some of the key members of Clover founded Seeds Inc., a new development group that merged with ODD Incorporated in October 2007 to form PlatinumGames, which has since built up a staff composed of former Clover staff. Other members (including the art director of Ōkami) went to join Ignition Entertainment at their Tokyo development studio.
