Valkyrie Profile

Valkyrie Profile is a role-playing video game developed by tri-Ace and published by Enix (now Square Enix) for the PlayStation. It was released on December 22, 1999 in Japan and on August 29, 2000 in North America. An enhanced port of the game was later released for the PlayStation Portable under the name Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth on March 2, 2006 in Japan, July 18, 2006 in North America, and April 27, 2007 in Europe.

Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume

The origins of a cult classic are revealed in VALKYRIE PROFILE: Covenant of the Plume, the third entry in the critically acclaimed VALKYRIE PROFILE series. Development studio tri-Ace returns to craft a gameplay experience that boasts a captivating storyline with ties to Norse mythology and a familiar yet refreshing battle system enhanced with deeper strategic elements.

Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria

Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria is the second installment of the Valkyrie Profile series.
Taking place hundreds of years before the original game, the story revolves around two characters living the same body, named Silmeria and Alicia. Together, the two characters work to stop a catastrophe that could cause war between the people and the gods. The game received generally positive reviews, citing its similarity to the original Valkyrie Profile game and its beautiful graphics, but had a convoluted interface and a high degree of difficulty. The game went on to be re-released as a Square Enix "Ultimate Release".

Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth

Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth is the PlayStation Portable port of the original Valkyrie Profile developed. The port is of the Japanese PlayStation version and does not have any of the gameplay improvements or changes made to the original English version, though the additional cinematics included in the English version are intact. Full motion video has been added to story events in the game and replaces all original anime scenes.

Lezard Valeth's teleportation circle was changed from a pink pentagram to a purple circle though this was left unchanged in the PlayStation Portable version. The names of Frei, the elder sister, and Freya, the younger, were reversed from Norse mythology and from the Japanese version (though in the former, Frei is the elder brother).

The English version of Lenneth uses an enhanced version of the original game's localization and reuses the original English voiceover track. Square Enix cleaned up the original game's English script and additional voice over dialogue for the CG movies was recorded by New Generation Pictures, rather than the original company, TAJ Productions.

Valkyrie Anatomia: The Origin

Valkyrie Anatomia: The Origin is the forth game in the Valkyrie Profile series and is set as a prequel to the first games story. It is a free-to-play mobile game with micro-transactions.

You move between points on a mission map that lead to battles, battles are turn-based, using an action meter, and requires you tap the character portraits to activate an attack and swipe the screen at the right time to use a special attacks if available. It takes time to recharge points used to move on the map and heal after battle. There are story cutscenes between missions.

Valkyrie Elysium

A young Valkyrie who is entrusted with the fate of the world by the All-Father, the highest of gods and ruler of all creation, will face various enemies on her quest and must utilize a variety of weapons, magic and the power of her allies to prevent Ragnarok - the destruction of the world.

An intricate and evocative tale of fates woven by gods and mortals, steeped in Norse mythology, punctuated by groundbreaking combat, and brought to life by a soundtrack considered among gaming's greatest. New features such as rewind function, quick save and load, visual presets, etc have been added.

The Enix Corporation was a company that produced Japanese video games and manga. The company was founded by Yasuhiro Fukushima on September 22, 1975 as Eidansha Boshu Service Center and renamed Enix in 1982. 

The company merged with Square Co. in 2003 to become Square Enix.
