EA Replay

EA Replay is a retro-themed compilation for the PlayStation Portable comprising a number of classic games. It was released in the United States on November 14, 2006, with Australian and European releases shortly afterwards.

The collection contains the Mega Drive/Genesis versions of Budokan: The Martial Spirit, Desert Strike: Return to the Gulf, Haunting Starring Polterguy, Jungle Strike, Mutant League Football, Road Rash 1-3 (Albeit with music removed and replaced with one track) and Virtual Pinball.

It also contains the SNES versions of B.O.B., Syndicate, Ultima VII: The Black Gate and Wing Commander along with the Secret Missions stand-alone expansion.

Syndicate Plus

Syndicate is Bullfrog’s masterpiece of a game in which you aren’t saving the world or protecting innocents. You just make sure that your employers get what they want. At your disposal are four cyborg agents, an impressive arsenal of weapons and gadgets, and a massive selection of cybernetic upgrades. You are free to unleash this power on a highly interactive map where you can blow up buildings, steal cars, light trees on fire, or just shoot stuff. Produced by Peter Molyneux himself, Syndicate is the essence of cyberpunk and, with its great music, stylized visuals, and mind-blowing atmosphere, it has earned its place among the best games of all time.

The "Plus" release includes both the original base game and the American Revolt expansion pack.

Syndicate

Syndicate is a strategic action game set in a dystopian future where corporate entities vie for global dominance. Players control a syndicate, expanding their influence across a world map divided into territories. Starting from a European base, players deploy agents to infiltrate and conquer adjacent regions through covert operations and violence. Once a territory is captured, players can impose taxes to increase revenue, but must balance this with the risk of inciting rebellions. The game involves managing resources, dispatching agents to eliminate threats both foreign and domestic, and defending against rival syndicates' incursions. Success requires careful strategic planning, efficient resource management, and the ability to outmaneuver opponents on a global scale. The ultimate goal is to achieve world domination by controlling all territories and overcoming all challenges.

Syndicate: American Revolt

American Revolt is an add-on pack to Syndicate. It requires the original game and includes 3 new weapons, 21 new single player missions, and 10 multiplayer missions.

Welcome to an urban hell of ultra-violent mayhem. Welcome to Syndicate Wars where you’ll take control of a squad of cybernetically enhanced Agents and wreak havoc on the enemy. Funnel money towards research that will allow you to upgrade your team and make them into more efficient killing machines. Use the environment to assassinate, destroy, and eliminate your targets all from a classic isometric perspective. If you need cannon fodder, why not set your Agents loose armed with Persuadertrons to control huge crowds, or even enemy agents, and get them to do the dirty work for you? So whether you’re keeping EuroCorp in the black or burning infidels for the New Epoch, Syndicate Wars will have you giddily carving a path to victory. Welcome to the merciless future of violent squad-based real-time tactics!

Set in 2069, Syndicate takes players into a dark, Machiavellian world run without government oversight with many syndicates vying for total dominance of their local market place. With no one to question their intentions or actions, three mega corporations - Eurocorp, Cayman Global, and Aspari - are at the forefront of this brutal war for control of the pivotal American market. In the world of Syndicate, everything is digitally connected, including the people. Players aren't limited to the weapons in their hands. Through DART 6 bio-chip technology implanted in their head, players can slow down time and breach the digital world around them to take down their foes using a variety of upgradable hacking mechanics. Syndicate's blend of fast-paced, futuristic, action shooter settings and story combined with innovative chip breach gameplay instantly immerses players in a unique digital world.

The Sega Mega Drive/Genesis and Sega CD port of Syndicate features much more cartoony styled graphics, different control set and completely new levels.

The Sega CD version has a different soundtrack which is the only difference between the two.

The Super Nintendo/Famicom port of Syndicate has a more cartoony graphics style, different control set, and completely new levels.

The Amiga and Amiga CD32 ports of Syndicate has a different color palette and lower resolution and most significantly, lacks any music – besides the intro – found in the original DOS release.

The 3DO port controls the game through a controller instead of mouse. The game also has different colors on the HUD and the mini-map, the menus before missions have different button highlights due to the controller, as well as having overall different sound generation for music.

The Jaguar port is graphically mostly the same as the 3DO port. The main differences are different music due to different sound generation, the button highlights are different, and the mini-map is in the same style as the original DOS version but it retains the colors of the 3DO, as well as the mouse is tracked on the mini-map unlike any other version.
All the video sequences including the intro is replaced with a static image of the video.

Electronic Arts is a leading global interactive entertainment software company. EA delivers games, content and online services for Internet-connected consoles, personal computers, mobile phones and tablets.

Bullfrog Productions was a British developer. It was founded in 1987 by Les Edgar and Peter Molyneux. They were best known for their strategy god games such as Populous.

In January 1995, to strengthen its global positioning, Bullfrog Productions merged with long time publishing partner Electronic Arts. In August 1997, Bullfrog co-founder, Peter Molyneux, left to establish a new development team, Lionhead Productions (who, incidentally, has also signed a distribution deal with Electronic Arts). In September 1999, Les Edgar changed his role to consultant for Bullfrog Productions Limited, enabling him to pay more equitable attention to his other business interests. Edgar handed the reins to Bruce McMillan from Electronic Arts' Canadian studio.

Following its purchase by EA, Bullfrog continued to work in its original offices in Guildford as an EA studio, and continued to display its own Bullfrog logo on the boxes of its games. In 2000, Electronic Arts merged its EA-UK offices, which had been in Langley near Slough, with the Bullfrog offices, into a new facility in Chertsey. Around August of that year the company decided to drop all further production of Bullfrog-branded products, and the former Bullfrog employees were put onto new projects such as the Harry Potter series. The last Bullfrog-branded game was Sim Theme Park (also known as Theme Park World and Theme Park 2), released in 1999.

A few compilations of older games that Bullfrog worked on have been published since, but to all intents and purposes the brand has been dead since the move to Chertsey in 2000.

Many Bullfrog developers left to found their own studios and these became Intrepid Computer Entertainment Ltd., Big Blue Box Studios Ltd. and Lionhead Studios. The latter eventually absorbed the first two and became the only studio to carry on the Bullfrog legacy.

Electronic Arts Victor Inc. (エレクトロニック・アーツ・ビクター株式会社, Erekutoronikku Ātsu Bikutā Kabushiki-gaisha) was a joint-venture between Electronic Arts and Victor Entertainment. They made sports games for the Family Computer, Super Famicom, and the Mega Drive. This brand name is unknown outside Japan and the emulation community (since the brand only appears on the game's cover and/or in the media). Some concepts include J-League association football, American football, and NHL hockey.

<p>The FM Towns (Japanese: エフエムタウンズ, Hepburn: Efu Emu Taunzu) is a Japanese personal computer built by Fujitsu from 1989 to 1997. It started as a proprietary PC variant intended for multimedia applications and PC games, but later became more compatible with IBM PC compatibles. In 1993, the FM Towns Marty was released; it is a game console compatible with existing FM Towns games.</p>
<p>The "FM" part of the name means "Fujitsu Micro" like their earlier products, while the "Towns" part is derived from the code name the system was assigned while in development, "Townes". This refers to Charles Townes, one of the winners of the 1964 Nobel Prize in Physics, following a custom of Fujitsu at the time to code name PC products after Nobel Prize winners. The e in "Townes" was dropped when the system went into production to make it clearer that the term was to be pronounced like the word "towns" rather than the potential "tow-nes".[2]</p>
