A compilation of two games based on DreamWorks animated movies on a single cartridge.

Shrek 2

Shrek 2 for PC is a game released in early 2004. It is unique from the video game for other consoles, the main difference being that the game is a straightforward platformer/beat-em up with each level using a specific character. It also uses the Unreal Engine 2, developed by Epic Games.

The gruff but lovable ogre returns to Game Boy Advance in this platform-hopping adventure that encourages teamwork among a small squad of onscreen characters. Players control Shrek and up to three of his companions as they side-scroll through levels based on locations in the feature film sequel Shrek 2. Different obstacles require the abilities of different characters to overcome them, so players must switch between their chosen team members as each situation requires. Shrek is strong enough to move objects that others can not, for example, while Donkey is able to kick open doors and Fiona can slow down time for easier attacks. The game also features characters and areas not seen in the film, offering fans new fairy tale people to meet and lands to explore.

Shrek Super Slam

Shrek SuperSlam pits the characters from the Shrek franchise against each other in the only game that combines the twisted humor and pop culture parodies of the Shrek universe with the fast-paced action of a melee fighting game. Signature fighting moves like Shrek's Green Storm, Donkey's Juggle Punt, and Puss-in-Boots' Love-Stun bring variety and personality to the game. Fully destructible arenas like the Poison Apple Inn and Dragon's Gate have walls toppling and debris flying while a multitude of weapons, potions, and magical items spell endless melee action for up to four players.

Shrek

Taking place after the 3D animated movie of the same name, the game allows the player to control Shrek, a huge green ogre, as he must rescue Princess Fiona from the evil wizard Merlin while finding his way through worlds full of crazy twists on familiar fairy tale characters. In this third-person action platformer, Shrek bashes and burps his way past various challenges, fighting creatures and collecting items to complete Good Deeds and unlock new levels.

Each world features six missions to complete save for Merlin's castle and two of the missions in every regular level involve either collecting hidden Easter Eggs or grabbing the evil fairies who run away as you approach. Other missions in a stage can involve tasks like defeating a boss or transporting characters to their destinations.

Game based on the second movie, developed by the makers of Vigilante 8. Shrek is on a journey to meet his in-laws, so Shrek 2 follows his adventure to Far Away Land and the chaos that ensues once Fiona's parents learn that their precious daughter is an ogre -- and is married to the crudest of them all. Shrek 2 features a mixture of puzzle solving and enemy bashing. Players are able to control one of four characters at any given time -- swapping between them at will. Each character has a set of basic attack moves and a special ability. Donkey has a "Burro Blast" that can knock down large objects, Shrek can pick up and throw heavy objects, and Fiona -- in a nod to her fight scene in the first movie -- can slow down time, Matrix-style.

Shrek the Third

An action video game based from the third installment of the Shrek movie series.

The Frog King has died and Shrek has inherited the throne. Since Shrek's not a big fan of this idea, he and his friends journey to the Worcestershire academy to recruit Fiona's cousin, Artie, for the job. Unfortunately, while he's away the dastardly Prince Charming has big plans to take over the kingdom.

Shrek Forever After

Shrek Forever After is an action-adventure video game based on the film of the same name. It was released on May 18, 2010, in North America. It is the fourth and final video game based on the movie series of Shrek.

It was the last DreamWorks Animation game released for Windows and the first Shrek game on the PlayStation 3.

Shrek Smash n' Crash Racing

Smash N' Crash through the Shrek universe atop a mount with a personality all its own! Beat your friends to the finish line in this fun and funny smash and crash twisted fairy-tale adventure!

DreamWorks Super Star Kartz

In the game, players race as their favorite DreamWorks Animation characters as they speed, jump, power-up and boost through wacky, wild and wondrous kart courses and compete to be the first to cross the finish line. Amazing stunts, awesome tricks and unique weaponry lets players outrace and outwit their opponents all while enjoying hilarious commentary by King Julien, the game’s announcer. Racers can put the pedal to the metal with multiple game modes including Battle, Circuit and Time Trial. Friends are invited to compete with up to 4 player split screen capabilities on consoles.
