Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes

Featuring unique playable characters, as well as supporting generals who will make it easier to command and lead armies, players will see the battle from the perspective of each military commander with the ultimate goal of re-writing history to rule all of 16th century Japan. In the dynamic new "Hero's Story" mode, the player's decisions impact history with a redesigned story mode. Based on choices made by the player, new drama unfolds as friends become enemies, enemies become friends, and a new Sengoku story unfolds. Adding a new strategic element to the game, forces can fight for control/taking over of camps and ultimately entire battlefields.

Devil Kings

Devil Kings is in the same vein as the Dynasty Warriors series. Whereas in Dynasty Warriors, however, Koei focuses on ancient Chinese history, Devil Kings focuses more on feudal Japan, but with a fictional setting with the ability to use modern day weapons such as chain guns and shotguns as well as fighting legendary and fictional characters from the past.

The story takes place as the Devil King, a king possessed by the soul of the Devil, has unleashed an unholy army on the world to bend it to his will as the player must stop him along with many of his minions including his wife Lady Butterfly, his general the Red Minotaur, as well as loyal assassins Scorpio and Venus.

The gameplay is more arcade hack-and-slash style, with the ability of using magic spells to wipe out entire waves of enemies and as mentioned before, the ability to use modern day weapons along with historical weapons such as spears, swords among others. There are six playable characters to use as well, each with their own story told in CG and anime cutscenes as well as two modes of play, Conquest (the main story of the game) and Free Mode (where players can play in any unlocked stage they have completed).

Sengoku Basara 4 Sumeragi is the expansion to Sengoku BASARA 4, released summer 2015 on both Playstation 3 and Playstation 4 consoles.

Sengoku Basara 3 Utage

Sengoku BASARA 3 Utage is an expansion to the Sengoku BASARA series by Capcom and was released for PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii on November 11, 2011. 
 
Sengoku BASARA 3 Utage was meant to be a more light-hearted and fun game than its predecessor, hence the title "Utage", which means party. While it keeps the same background and general information about the time period as in Sengoku BASARA 3, some of the eight new stories only marginally reference the plot that was introduced in the previous game. 
 
Sengoku BASARA 3 save data can be synced with Sengoku BASARA 3 Utage. If they are unlocked, alternate costumes and personal items will be brought over. Synching save data with certain achievements will give the player extra gold.

Sengoku Basara 4 is the latest entry to the Sengoku Basara series by Capcom and was released for the PlayStation 3 on January 23, 2014. The game focuses on the theme of Sengoku Genesis and centers around the beginning of the Sengoku Period. There is also an expansion to the game called Sengoku Basara 4 Sumeragi. 
 
For this entry in the series, character design was passed to Tooru Ookubo, chief designer for the anime series, instead of series standby Makoto Tsuchibayashi.

Sengoku Basara Chronicle Heroes

Sengoku BASARA Chronicle Heroes is a PlayStation Portable game released by Capcom on July 14, 2011.

The game is similar to the previous PSP release Sengoku Basara: Battle Heroes. Gamers create a team consisting of two heroes from the series and face off in battle against another player. The game will support up to four players ad hoc. This game feature characters from Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes (called Sengoku Basara 3 in Japan) like Ishida Mitsunari and the revamped Tokugawa Ieyasu. Token Sengoku Basara characters Date Masamune and Sanada Yukimura return as playable characters.

New stages include a different take on a section in Sekigahara from Sengoku BASARA: Samurai Heroes. The PSP version will have height differences, which means that battles will also be taken above ground. Speaking of which, the game will now feature new aerial combat elements due to fan request. Characters can now pull off combos while in mid-jump.
