Robotron: 2084

In 2084, man creates a species of super-advanced cyborgs known as Robotrons. Recognizing the imperfect nature of their creators, the Robotrons conclude that the inefficient human race must be exterminated. In Robotron: 2084, only you and a single family of clones remain. If mankind is to survive, you must destroy the Grunts, Brains, Enforcers, and Tanks - but avoid the indestructible Hulks at all cost. Can you withstand wave after wave of android invasion and rescue Mommy, Daddy, and Mikey... before it's too late?

Robotron X

The arcade classic is taken to the next level, this time in 3D. The super-enhanced hero Ugene is once again called into action to save the last human family against the hordes of relentless Robotrons. Battle through 100 different levels, gaining new power-ups and abilities as Ugene survives wave after wave of the unrelenting hordes. While Ugene may face the familiar Robotrons, there will be new additions and tricks that the killer robots will use against the last surviving human family. Ugene must protect them at all cost while racking up the highest possible score!

Blaster

The year is 2085 and the Robotrons have destroyed the human race. You escape in a stolen space shuttle. Your destination: Paradise. A remote outpost 20 million light years away. Does paradise exist? Can civilization be started again? These questions will be answered at the end of your journey. But first, you must BLAST... OR BE BLASTED!

Robotron 64

A Nintendo 64 port of Robotron X, an update of the arcade classic Robotron 2084 that was released on PS1 and PC a month earlier.

Blaster developed by Vid Kidz for Williams was released for the arcades and is quite obscure. What is interesting however is that the Atari 5200 version that was not released was actually made before the arcade game. An unofficial sequel to Robotron 2084 (As it takes place in 2085) Blaster is a 3d style shooter with impressive graphics for the time. In it the player takes the view from a spaceship cockpit so moving in the different directions shifts the entire screen. There are four levels you will play through avoiding obstacles, saving humans, and defeating alien enemies. Upon beating the four levels the game loops but will be more difficult.

The old company name for Atari, Inc.

The GT Interactive Software Corporation (GTI) was founded in February 1993 as a division of GoodTimes Home Video, a video-tape distributor owned by the Cayre family, with Ron Chaimowitz as co-founder and president. That same year the publisher saw the release of their first shareware title, the hugely popular Doom. In its first year, revenue reached $10.3 million. GT was the first publisher to allow developers to retain their Intellectual Property.

It was bought by Infogrames Entertainment and subsequentially renamed to Infogrames, Inc. on May, 2000.

GT Interactive Software

Player1, Inc. was an American development studio located in Santa Monica, CA. They would develop games for 5th generation consoles. Titles include Milo's Astro Lanes and Blues Brothers 2000.

Their last game, E.O.S.: Exhibition of Speed, was released in 2001.
