Mega Drive Mini 2

The second version of the Mega Drive Mini, released in Japan on 27 October 2022. This new iteration will include 50 games, some of them being Mega CD titles. This is the Japanese version of the mini console.

Sega Genesis Mini 2

The international version of the Sega Genesis Mini is an Amazon exclusive product. It contains games from the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive, as well from the Sega CD. It has a newly developed game called Devi & Pii and new exclusive ports of arcade games.

M.U.S.H.A.

M.U.S.H.A. is a Sega Genesis vertical-scrolling shooter from Compile and Seismic originally released in 1990 and later re-released on the Nintendo Virtual Console in 2009. The game is known for its rarity and its ability to fetch high prices on auction sites.

Robo Aleste

Pilot your massive mecha Aleste in the name of the Oda clan and seek revenge against the evil Chugoku Army for their atrocities! Robo Aleste is another title in the Aleste series by famed shoot-'em-up developer Compile where players must collect power-ups to defeat countless waves of enemies and large bosses.

The game takes place in the year 2039, two decades after the super computer DIA51 attacked and decimated the Earth. After the long restoration period, Earth is invaded by a race of alien plant-like humanoids called the Vagand, intent on finding a new food source on Earth. In their first attack on Earth, the Vagand destroys an Earth space cruiser commanded by the previous Earth hero, Ray Waizen. Their plan to invade Earth is challenged by the newest version of the Aleste piloted by the daughter of Ray and Yuri Waizen, Ellinor, who has vowed to avenge her father's death and to personally kill the Vagand leader Gaizel.

Your planet has been overrun by the meanest mutant vegetation ever created in a genetics laboratory. It's taken over buildings, labs, fighter craft... even people! And it's getting bigger... and meaner... with each passing second. But it hasn't taken over you. Now, you're going in on a mission to deliver a POWER STRIKE! You have a special attack ship with the ability to use weapons you free from the ground. The action is hot and heavy. The enemy is coming faster than you could ever believe! So fight hard and fast. If you don't turn the mutated vegetation into a giant tossed salad, they'll turn you into toast!

Space Megaforce

Taking the role of a lone starfighter pilot, you are tasked with destroying an evil alien armada in standard 2D shooter fashion. And while you may be alone, you certainly won't be underpowered, with eight different types of weapons, each having six power-up levels for a grand total of 48 firing modes (not counting bomb power-ups) Space Megaforce boasts one of the largest arsenals in 2D shooter history.

Gameplay is single-player only with 3 difficulty levels. Also included is a short campaign with different levels that plays mostly like a "survival" mode with the objective being to outlast the time limit and rack the most points.

This international release of Super Aleste features a different story compared to its Japanese counterpart.

GG Aleste

GG Aleste is a game in Compile's Aleste series of shoot-'em-ups for the Sega Game Gear. It was only released in Japan and is one of the few Compile Game Gear games published by Compile rather than Sega.

Aleste Gaiden

Aleste Gaiden is a vertical shoot 'em up video game developed by Compile in 1989. It was released onto MSX2 in Japan only. It was originally released as part of the Disc Station Special Vol. 4. As it's title implies, it is a spin-off which retells the story of the first game in a different setting.

Tengen was a subsidiary of Atari Games Corporation under which home conversions of Atari Games' arcade games were developed and published. Tengen also published conversions of other manufacturers' arcade games, including Sega, Namco and Toaplan. Most of Tengen's NES releases were not licensed by Nintendo and Tengen faced a lawsuit because of this. In the early 1990s, Tengen also published several original games from various developers. The Tengen division was renamed to Time Warner Interactive (California) Inc. after Time Warner bought Atari Games Corporation in 1993.

After the business was sold to WMS Industries, the name was reverted to Tengen, Inc. However, the company was inactive until it was finally dissolved in 1999.

Compile Corporation (株式会社コンパイル, Kabushikigaisha Konpairu) was a Japanese video game developer, most notable for having developed the Puyo Puyo series, a franchise derived from the Madō Monogatari series. On 6 November 2003, the company shut down amid bankruptcy. As a result, key staff moved to Compile Heart, the company's spiritual successor, whereas shoot-'em-up staff moved to MileStone Inc.[1]

The Compile trademark is being used as a brand label by Compile Heart to promote merchandise and games based on Compile properties.[2] As of 2010, Compile Heart entered into a licensing deal with D4 Enterprise to create new video games based on franchises from Compile properties.[3][4] This agreement does not affect the rights to the Puyo Puyo series as Sega retains ownership of the property.[5]

In April 2016, Niitani started a new successor company to Compile, Compile Maru. The company launched the game Nyoki Nyoki: Tabidachi Hen for Nintendo 3DS on the Nintendo eShop with a follow-up scheduled for Nintendo Switch.
