Lemmings Return

Lemmings Return is a follow-up to the rather short J2ME version of Lemmings. Despite the game having a unique title, it has very few truly unique levels of its own. It was released for J2ME-enabled mobile phones in 2006.

Gameplay is almost unchanged from the J2ME version of Lemmings, with a few minor improvements.

There are 30 levels total compared to J2ME Lemmings's 28, split into the same three ranks as J2ME Lemmings (Fun, Tricky, Taxing) with 10 levels in each. In both games, the Taxing rank is locked until the player completes Tricky.

While the game has a couple unique, albeit forgettable, levels, the vast majority of its levels are either taken directly from the later ranks of Lemmings (the J2ME version only had levels from the original Fun rank) or taken from Oh No! More Lemmings but reskinned with original Lemmings tilesets, much like the Mega Drive version of the original game, with most of them here taken from the Tame rank.

Lemmings

Lemmings is a puzzle-platform game developed by DMA Design and published by Psygnosis in 1991. Players guide a group of lemmings through hazardous levels to a designated exit. The gameplay involves assigning specific skills, such as digging or building, to overcome obstacles and avoid traps. Each level has a time limit and requires saving a minimum number of lemmings to progress. The game was released on multiple platforms and is regarded as a classic of the puzzle genre.

Lemmings 2: The Tribes

By now, you'll probably be aware of the horrible plight the Lemmings face. Not only do they have to leave their lovely little hovels for good,but they also have to escape their island before they perish in the Darkness that's coming. Your objective therefore is to save as many Lemmings as possible from each tribe and help them escape the Island. The DOS version has a different sounding soundtrack due to the different sound card, but is otherwise identical.

Featuring 90 levels of enhanced Lemming gameplay, larger Lemmings in crazy costumes, new objectives and, for the first time, bad guys to be confronted!

Oh No! More Lemmings

Oh No! More Lemmings is the follow-up to Lemmings. The game features 100 new levels, and all-new graphics and music. It was released in both a stand-alone and an add-on version.

Lemmings is a 2006 video game developed by Team17 and released by Sony Computer Entertainment, remake of the original Lemmings published in 1991.

The game has been released in slightly different versions for PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 2, and PlayStation 3.

Lemmings & Oh No! More Lemmings

This port contains two complete games from the classic puzzle series. There are 209 levels to work through, all featuring the classic Lemmings formula: the player must assign roles (digger, climber, etc.) to marching Lemmings in order to prevent them from meeting terrible fates.

Players guide lemmings to safety by assigning skills that enable them to navigate obstacles and hazards. For over 5 years 8bit Games created 30+ games based on the biggest brands for the world's top publishers, including Lemmings, which was voted game of the year by the readers of What Mobile magazine. In 2004 the company was nominated for best handheld studio in the Develop Industry Awards.

In 2008 the company founders set up a new company called Big Head Games.

Lemmings on Java Mobile (J2ME) is pretty much just a port of the original Lemmings that uses updated graphics and an upgraded soundtrack to play more comfortabely on a mobile device. Due to phone sizes the game is much more zoomed in than other releases, but otherwise plays about the same.
