Master System Handy

The Tectoy Master System Handy is a "console on a chip" Sega Master System clone that was manufactured and distributed by Sega's Brazilian distributor Tectoy in 2004. It has no cartridge slot, instead containing 27 built-in Master System games, 20 of which are packaged within the compilation 20 em 1.

Master System Evolution

The Tectoy Master System Evolution is a video game console released by Tectoy in 2009 as a successor to the Tectoy Master System 3. It is a "console on a chip", containing 132 built-in Sega Master System games (Altered Beast was added, compared to its predecessor's list of games).

The total of games considers the following bundles: 20 em 1 as 20 games, Pense Bem as 10 games and Astro Warrior/Pit Pot as 2 games.

Master System 3

The Master System 3 is a console released by Tectoy exclusively in Brazil in 2008. It is a continuation of the long-running Sega Master System line seen in the country, succeeding the line of "Master System 3 Collection" consoles (which in turn followed the "Master System III Compact"). Like the last two models of its predecessor, this Master System 3 lacks a cartridge slot, relying solely on built-in games. It has a shorter name and also opts for a radically changed design over previous consoles, presumed to be unique to Tectoy products.

Internally, it is likely the same as the Master System 3 Collection with 131 games, since they have the same menu saying "Master System 3 Collection 131 Super Jogos" and share the same list of games.

The Master System 3 comes with 131 built-in games (or so it claims), the same number as the last Master System 3 Collection console to be released. It also comes with two Sega Mega Drive-style six button control pads which plug into two DE-9 ports, although most of the buttons on the pads are redundant as the console has no built-in Mega Drive games.

In order to count 131 games, Pense Bem counts as 10 and 20 em 1 counts as 20 games.

Master System 3 Collection: 131 Super Jogos na Memória

The Master System 3 Collection from 2007 is a version of the Sega Master System released by Tectoy exclusively in Brazil in 2007.

While similar in apperance to previous units (sharing a plastic shell with the redesigned Master System II, dating back to 1990), this version lacks support for game cartridges, meaning only the "131" built-in games are playable. The cartridge slot cover still exists, but if opened it will reveal an empty space.

Tectoy would abandon this design with the release of the Master System 3 the following year.

DVD Karaoke Game DVT-G100

Tectoy's DVD Karaoke Game DVT-G100 is a DVD player, a karaoke machine and a dedicated console all built in one single machine. It comes with two six-button controllers and was marketed to include 100 built-in SEGA Master System and Game Gear games, though the total sum is 102 when counting 20 games for 20 em 1 and 10 games for Pense Bem.

Hang-On

Hang-On is an arcade game designed by Yu Suzuki and released by Sega in 1985. In the game, the player controls a motorcycle against time and other computer-controlled bikes. It was one of the first arcade games to use 16-bit graphics and Sega's "Super Scaler" technology that allowed pseudo-3D sprite-scaling at high frame rates. It also introduced a motion-controlled arcade cabinet, where the player's body movement on a large motorbike-shaped cabinet corresponds with the player character's movements on screen, inspiring arcade games that followed and anticipating the modern motion control trend.

Hang-On II

Hang-On II is an SG-1000 sequel to the critically acclaimed Hang-On.

Despite the name, the game is meant as a direct sequel to the Mark III version of Hang-On, and is virtually identical to that game. The only difference is downgraded graphics and the addition of music from the arcade version. An upgraded port of Hang-On for the Master System was released in the following year. Meanwhile, Super Hang-On is the direct sequel to the arcade game.

It is compatible with the BH-400 bike handle controller, and would be the only SG-1000 game designed for it (though the peripheral is compatible with the Sega Master System and Sega Mega Drive).

Super Hang-On

Super Hang-On is a 1987 motorcycle racing arcade game by Sega, and the sequel to the acclaimed Hang-On. A version of this game, in the full simulated-motorcycle cabinet used by the original Hang-On, was released in 1991 as Limited Edition Hang-On.

It was also released for the Sega Mega Drive, Commodore Amiga, Atari ST, Macintosh, ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC and Commodore 64 in 1989. Super Hang-On was also released for the Sharp X68000 computer in Japan. The game also appeared on several Mega Drive compilations, namely Mega Games I (bundled with the console as Mega Drive Magnum Set), and Sega Genesis Six Pack. The arcade version was released on the Wii Virtual Console in Japan on September 14, 2010 and later for the other regions on May 3, 2012. A stereoscopic 3D version was released for the Nintendo 3DS eShop in Japan on March 27, 2013 and in North America and Europe on November 28, 2013.

Racing Hero

Race a motorcycle against other bikes, cars, trucks and the obligatory tight time limit. Racing Hero is the spiritual successor both to Sega's wonderful "Hang-On" series, and to their most famous racing game, "Out Run".

Some of Racing Hero's stages mirrored the racing-through-traffic gameplay of the Ferrari-based racer, for example perhaps the biggest similarity to Out Run is that at the end of each stage, the player can choose which route he or she wishes to take next. This differs somewhat from "Out Run"'s highly impressive forked-road method. In Racing Hero, the player is presented with a seperate stage-select screen and simply highlights the flag of whichever country they wish to tackle next.

Hang-On GP

Hang-On GP features three tracks: Albatross Cliff Reef, Great Crimson Wall, and New Dwells. Each track contains an additional route that becomes available after a high placing. This makes a total of six possible races.

Players can choose from among ten motorcycles to use during a race as well as an automatic or manual transmission for each. Players can also decide how the bike should control, highside or power slide.

Placing in the top three on any of the first three tracks will release the additional routes. When players place in the top three on the additional routes an endurance mode will be available. In endurance mode players attempt to complete as many laps as they can in 10 minutes.

Limited Edition Hang-On

Like Hang-On Jr. before it was of Hang-On, Limited Edition Hang-On is a simpler-course version of Super Hang-On. LE Hang-On is identifiable by having a full-bodied motorcycle as part of the cabinet.

Tec Toy (later renamed Tectoy and TecToy), also known as Tec Toy Indústria de Brinquedos SA, is a Brazilian electronics and video game company, and Sega’s official distributor in that region. The company has seen overwhelming success with sales of the Sega Master System, and its work established the 8-bit platform as a cultural staple across much of South America.

It underwent a rebranding process in 2007, becoming Tectoy.

Sega Enterprises, Ltd. was the company that resulted from the merger of Nihon Goraku Bussan and Rosen Enterprises. This company was acquired by Gulf+Western in 1969, put under the control of Sega Enterprises, Inc. in 1974, and then sold to CSK in 1984. It also acquired Esco Boueki. While owned by CSK, Sega Enterprises established an American subsidiary still in operation. Sega Enterprises would change its name to Sega Corporation on November 1, 2000.
