Treasure Island Dizzy

Treasure Island Dizzy is a computer puzzle game published in 1988.
Treasure Island Dizzy was the second game in the Dizzy series, and is the sequel to Dizzy - The Ultimate Cartoon Adventure.

Bubble Dizzy

Dizzy's in trouble - again! Dizzy was taking a boat journey to visit his girlfriend, Daisy and present her with a glittering pearl necklace (the old romantic). But! Catastrophe strikes as Dizzy discovers he's not on passenger boat at all!! It's a pirate ship, captained by non other than the evil Captain Blackheart.

"Yikes!" yelled Dizzy as Blackheart snatched the pearls from his clutches!
Blackheart hollered, "Avast there! Splice the mainbrace! And chuck this land lubber over the side! With that, Dizzy was made to walk the plank and - splooosh! - into the ocean he fell!

As Dizzy sank into the mysterious ocean caverns there was only one thing for it - head for the surface and FAST!!

Crystal Kingdom Dizzy

Crystal Kingdom Dizzy is an adventure video game featuring the character Dizzy released in December 1992 by Codemasters. The Oliver Twins who were heavily involved in the design and programming of previous Dizzy games had less involvement with this one.
The game is the last title to date in the core Dizzy series.

Dizzy: Prince of the Yolkfolk

Grand Dizzy was feeling very down one day, so Dizzy and Daisy decided to cheer him up by baking him his favourite food, cherry pie. "Pogie pinched the cheeries!" she cries, as she saw Pogies pawprint in the cupboard. Pogie promptly darted of into the enchanted forest to escape Daises rage.

Dizzy and Daisy decided to go into the forest to catch Pogie and gather some more cheeries at the same time. Whilst seaching for Pogie they got lost and found a castle, where they thought they would find help, but it seemed deserted. They looked in the castle for pogie, but Daisy caught herself on a mystic spinning wheel. She started feeling really sleepy, so she found a bed and went to sleep.

"Wake up Daisy, wake up!" shoued Dizzy. But before he could wake her up, Rockwart the troll caught him and locked him up underground.

Dizzy Panic

Dizzy Panic is a puzzle video game based on the Dizzy series. Gameplay involves moving a wall left and right so that falling shapes pass through the appropriately shaped holes in the wall.

Fantastic Dizzy

Dizzy is an egg living in a world of magic and fantasy. The basic concept of the game is to move around the world, finding various items and collectibles, and to use them in the right locations. Dizzy has no special skills or abilities, save for his remarkable feats of somersaulting, and must solve all problems he faces with the clever use of one or more items.

Fantasy World Dizzy

Dizzy and Daisy strolled through the enchanted forest without a care in the world...but suddenly the Evil King's trolls seized poor Daisy! She was sent to Wizard Weird's Tallest Tower, while Dizzy was dragged away and thrown into the deepest, darkest, dankest, of the King's Dungeons in the bowels of Fantasy World. Dizzy was firghtened! Who knew what fate awaited him...and he still hadn't done this week's homework! But then he remembered that he had a fresh green apple that he had planned to give to his teacher to escape detention, and he cheered up. And there was some bread and water on the table! A cunning plan began to brew in his mind...
But Dizzy can't do everything on his own...you must help him!

Codemasters is a British video game developer and publisher founded by David Darling and his brother Richard in 1986. Headquartered in Southam, Warwickshire, Codemasters is one of the oldest British game studios, and in 2005 was named the top independent games developer by Develop magazine.

Codemasters

Camerica was a company owned and operated by David J. Harding. It was a video game company that was notable for producing unlicensed Nintendo Entertainment System games and hardware. It was founded in 1988 and published games through 1992. It created a number of peripherals for the NES, including the Aladdin Deck Enhancer. Camerica had the rights to publish most of Codemasters' game titles, both on the NES and the Deck Enhancer. Thor Aackerlund was a spokesperson for the brand.

Camerica created many early peripherals for the NES, such as Supersonic The Joystick, a wireless controller add-on.[1] However, they soon let their license expire for unknown reasons, while leaving many of these products on the market. Nintendo sued Camerica and their USA distributor, Galoob Toy, many times. Camerica and Galoob Toy prevailed every time. There were lawsuits in California, New York and Canada. Nintendo had to pay Galoob Toy USD$15,000,000 in damages over one of those lawsuits.

Since Camerica still lacked license to produce NES games, they had to create their own cartridges that would bypass Nintendo's lock-out chip. Like the circuit used in Color Dreams cartridges, the Camerica lock-out defeat generated glitch pulses that froze the chip. The cartridges they made were shaped slightly differently from Nintendo's cartridges, though they still fit in the NES. The most notable difference however was in color: all Camerica cartridges were gold and later silver. They also featured a switch for play on European NES consoles.

Camerica released the Codemasters-designed Game Genie in Canada and the UK.

Go! Dizzy Go! was originally to be released on the NES for the Aladdin; due to its unexpected failure, the title was then planned for release as a stand-alone title for the Sega Master System and Sega Game Gear. The publisher, Codemasters, was uncomfortable releasing it separately at full price, so included it as part of The Excellent Dizzy Collection. The game is an action-puzzle game where the player must navigate the Dizzy through a series of mazes similar to the Adventures of Lolo games.

Quattro Arcade, released for the NES in 1992, includes Go! Dizzy Go!.
