Soul Edge

Soul Edge is a 3D arcade fighting game and the first in the Soul series, it is one of the first 3D fighting game in history that place a particular emphasis on the story of the fighters. Each character have their own weapon, allowing for a wide range of play styles. The slower, longer ranged characters try to deliver their heavy blows from a distance whereas the quicker, faster characters try to get in as close as possible and deliver quick-hitting attacks.

SoulCalibur

SoulCalibur is a weapon-based 3D fighting game developed by Project Soul and produced by Namco. It is the second game in the Soul series, preceded by Soul Edge (1996). Originally released in arcades in 1998, it ran on the Namco System 12 hardware. In 1999 it was ported to the Dreamcast with improved graphics and new features. The North American version was released in September 1999 as a launch title for the Dreamcast and was part of the successful launch of the new console. It became available as a downloadable title on Xbox 360's Xbox Live Marketplace in 2008.
The title brought many innovations to the fighting game genre that include a heavy emphasis on weapons and a unique eight-way movement system. Soulcalibur is widely regarded as one of the best Dreamcast titles and is one of the most critically acclaimed fighting games of all time.

SoulCalibur II

SoulCalibur II es la tercera entrega de la serie Soul y sigue la tradición de sus predecesores con gráficos mejorados, nuevos personajes y nuevos niveles. La mayor parte de la acción tiene lugar en el modo «Weapon Master», donde tienes que elegir un personaje y recorrer un mapa fijo para enfrentarte a muchos otros guerreros a lo largo de diferentes niveles y desafíos. Se lanzaron versiones para consolas, que incluían personajes invitados de otras franquicias.

La versión de arcade cuenta con un modo único llamado «Modo Conquista». Este modo, que utiliza un sistema de nombre y contraseña para guardar datos, permite al jugador seleccionar un ejército de entre cuatro. Soulcalibur III is a fighting game produced by Namco as a sequel to Soulcalibur II and the fourth installment in the Soul series. The game includes three new modes and a larger character roster with 24 characters playable in Tales of Souls mode and an additional 18 playable in all other modes.

Exclusive to the Xbox 360 version is Yoda from Star Wars, who’s inclusion was meant to represent the colours of the Xbox Logo.

SoulCalibur: Broken Destiny

Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny is a 2009 fighting game.

Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny features a large roster of playable characters, including returning fighters and new additions. Combat incorporates mechanics such as Critical Finishes, Soul Crushes, and Equipment Destruction. The game introduces a new single-player mode designed to test player reactions and support skill development. It also includes local wireless multiplayer via the PSP’s ad hoc networking, allowing two players to compete directly. Character customization returns with an expanded set of options for creating and modifying fighters.

Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion

Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion is an update to Tekken 6. It features new characters, stages, items and customization options. It also gives the game a balance update from characters and items. It was released to Japanese arcades on December 18, 2008 and the console version of Tekken 6 is based on this arcade version.

This new version features two new characters: Alisa Bosconovitch, an android with jet wings and spinning limbs who was built in the image of Dr. Bosconovitch's deceased daughter, and Lars Alexandersson, an unknown descendant of Heihachi Mishima and leader of a rebellious Tekken Force faction fighting Jin's tyranny. A number of new items and customization options are featured in this expansion. The game also features all-new CG character art, just as there was a change in art from Tekken 5 to Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection. Upgrade kits are also available for owners of current Tekken 6 machines.

The game has been stuck in development since its 2010 announcement and the game was put on hold officially in 2016, though early character models and some gameplay systems were said to be finished at the time.
