The first entry in the D series and one of the first games released by the company, it dealt with taboo content such as violence and cannibalism, featured 3D CGI full-motion video and a first-person perspective. It was the first game to star the digital actress, Laura.

Enemy Zero

Enemy Zero was the second game to star the digital character Laura Lewis—the first being D.

In E0, gameplay sequences alternate between interactive FMV and real time exploration, both from a first person perspective. The interactive FMV component uses gameplay identical to an earlier Warp game, D.

The real time component of E0 is unique. Enemies are invisible, and location is only possible through the use of sound, with notes of different pitch helping the player find the distance and direction of enemies. Additionally, every gun in the game must be charged up immediately before each shot, and charging a shot for too long will cause the charge to dissipate, after which the charging must start over. Since all available guns have very limited range, this makes timing crucial; beginning to charge the gun too late or too soon will allow the enemy to reach Laura, resulting in an immediate game over.

In Enemy Zero, reloading the gun and moving the character around are mechanics that have been made intentionally slow,[4] which stimulates players to avoid combat and direct contact with the alien enemies as much as possible. In the early segments of the game, avoiding detection is not only recommended; it is required, since the player has no means to defend him or herself without a gun. Enemy Zero is an example of a game containing stealth elements[5] roughly two years before the release of Metal Gear Solid popularized the genre worldwide, though ten years after Metal Gear started the genre in 1987.

A survival horror video game developed by WARP for the Dreamcast. It was published by WARP in Japan in 1999 and then by Sega in North America in 2000. D2 was written and directed by Kenji Eno, and serves as the third and final entry in the D series after D and Enemy Zero. Like the previous two games, D2 stars the digital actress Laura and serves as an independent story unrelated to either game.

D2 is also WARP's final game before changing their name to "Superwarp" and transitioning from video game development to online network services in August, 2001.

D's Diner: The Director's Cut

A director's cut of D including additional cutscenes and trailers including the trailer for D2. The story begins in 1997. It's the dead of night in the city of Los Angeles, and there has been a mass murder at a general hospital on the outskirts of downtown. The perpetrator is the director of the hospital, Richter Harris. He has shut himself up in the hospital and taken a number of patients as hostages, leaving the police helpless and unable to move in. Richter's only daughter, Laura Harris, after hearing the situation, rushes to Los Angeles from San Francisco, and drives alone to the tragic scene at the hospital ground. Upon entering the hospital Laura finds herself transported to an old mansion, while the disembodied voice of her father pleads with her to leave. Nevertheless she must press forward to save her father and herself.

Rozner Labs Software Group (aka Rozner Labs, Inc.) was incorporated on July 12, 1993. Stephen Rozner was the president.

The company was started by brothers Stephen & William Rozner and a friend, and it originally operated out of a small two bedroom condo. The name came from what friends called the Rozners' house because of their abundance of tools. The Rozners later closed shop to work for Static Online.

There were no further projects developed by them after 1995.

Warp Inc. was a Japanese development studio founded by Kenji Eno in 1994. It was a continuation of his earlier work at his studio Eim Ltd. The company first approached The 3DO Company to work on games.

The company got known mostly through the D series. Real Sound was also envisioned as a franchise, but although a sequel was announced, it was never produced. D-2 was the company's last game due to troubled relations with SEGA where it was a second party developer. Another game was in development, but never completed.

Eventually the company was renamed Superwarp and intended to enter the IT business, but that never took off. The company appears to have been closed eventually. In 2001 Kenji Eno rebranded the company as From Yellow To Orange. In 2006 Kenji Eno announced to it was developing a game for the upcoming Nintendo Wii.

WARP

Nightdive Studios (legal name: Night Dive Studios, Inc.) is an independent developer and publisher of classic videogames. Established in 2012, the company now publishes 100 titles across multiple digital platforms. Most recently the company launched a highly successful Kickstater campaign for its next title, a reboot of the classic game System Shock. Nightdive Studios has established an unparalleled reputation for quality and gathered a loyal fanbase.
