Custom Robo is sort of a sci-fi action take on Nintendo's own collect-and-battle style Pokemon titles. In the game's story mode, you slip into the role of a young boy who has just built his very own toy robot who goes by the name of Lei. Together with your cousin, you head down towards Robo Station to take part in a giant Custom Robo battle championship that takes place in the local Holosseum. The ultimate goal is to improve your skills so that you can defeat the champion Custom Robo builder of them all, Mamoru. Gameplay involves robo customization and frantic action battles in confined 3D arenas. Followed by a sequel.

Custom Robo V2

Custom Robo V2 is the second game in the Custom Robo series. It is similar to the first, but it features tag teaming. The player travels an overworld, and participates in Custom Robo battles. The goal of the game is to win every battle of the storyline while collecting every Robo, battle part, and item.

Custom Robo GX

The Game Boy Advance iteration in the Custom Robo franchise.

Custom Robo GX is a Japan-exclusive GBA version of Custom Robo. It maintains the series' trademark RPG-hybrid gameplay, but changes the battle system to accommodate the limited capacity of the GBA.

The Robos can still be customized in the same manner as the console games (Body, Gun, Bomb, Pod, Feet) but the battles take place on a 2-d plane in zero gravity. There is still auto-aim, and the Robos have the same fire modes as the console releases. Different arenas have obstacles, and Robos have dash moves to move around them more effectively. Generally a Robo is based on its 3d counterpart, so a slow and powerful Robo will still be slow and powerful.

This game was originally planned to be the first Custom Robo game released in America, but Nintendo chose the Gamecube release instead.

You've been challenged to a fight, and the robots are waiting. Do you pick a Ray 01 body and equip it with a Wyvern gun and Burrow bomb P, or do you opt for a Javelin with Satellite pod and Feather legs? Custom Robo lets you and up to three friends customize robots with nearly 200 unique parts, then turns you loose in a virtual battlefield to prove who's the top robot commander.

Custom Robo Arena

Custom Robo Arena, known in Japan as Gekitō! Custom Robo, is a science fiction action role playing game for the Nintendo DS. It is the fifth title in the Custom Robo series. The name was announced on May 9, 2006 at the E3 convention, and released in Japan on October 19, 2006, then later in the United States on March 19, 2007. Later, on May 25, 2007, it became the first Custom Robo title released in Europe, and on September 20, 2007, it also became the first title of the series released in Australia.

In the game, the player participates in Custom Robo tournaments and tries to earn money to buy parts to use to improve their robo. The game is the first in the series that features two-player mode with the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection including voice chat, Multi-Card play, and DS Download Play. Custom Robo Arena also uses a "Rivals" list.

Nintendo is a multinational corporation located in Kyoto, Japan. Founded by Fusajiro Yamauchi, it first produced handmade hanafuda cards and also tried several small niche businesses such as a cab company and a love hotel. Nintendo developed into a video game company, becoming one of the most influential in the industry and Japan's third most valuable listed company. The name Nintendo translated from Japanese to English means "Leave luck to Heaven".

NOISE Inc. (Japanese: 株式会社ノイズ) is a Japanese video game development company that works in partnership with Nintendo, developing games for the Custom Robo series.

Noise was founded with a staff of 10 people on September 2, 1996 for the original purpose of developing games for PCs. A short time after, Noise became a part of Marigul Management, a company created by Nintendo and the Japanese telecommunications company Recruit for the purpose of enlisting smaller developers to make original games for the Nintendo 64.

The company’s first commercially published game, Custom Robo for the Nintendo 64, was released in Japan on December 9, 1999 and became a commercial success in Japan, prompting Nintendo to formally enter a publishing agreement with Noise. In 2006, Custom Robo was released in China for the iQue Player, making it the only Custom Robo title ever to be released there.

Its second released title was Custom Robo V2, which was released on November 10, 2000 and was also met with commercial success in Japan. It released its first portable video game for the Game Boy Advance, Custom Robo GX, on July 26, 2002.

Despite the impressive sales of the previous games in the Custom Robo franchise, the series’s first localized appearance in North America is with Custom Robo: Battle Revolution for the GameCube, released in 2004.

The company's first online multiplayer game is Custom Robo Arena, for the Nintendo DS title. Its latest game, Custom Robo Arena was released in 2006, three years after Marigul was closed. In 2007, Custom Robo Arena was released in PAL regions, making it the first title of the series ever released in those regions, as well as being released in more regions than every other title of the series.

The company developed and released Go! Go! Cosmo Cops! for the Nintendo DS in 2009, only for PAL regions. It was published by Namco Bandai. A planned Japan release as Shutsugeki! Acroknights was later quietly canceled.

Korogashi Puzzle Katamari Damacy (Korogashi Pazuru Katamari Damashii (ころがしパズル塊魂)), a falling block puzzle video game, was developed by them and released by Namco Bandai for the Nintendo DSi's DSiWare digital download service. It is a spin-off of the Katamari series.

Kenkenba for iOS and Android was developed by Noise and released on November 28, 2011.

It developed Gyrozetter: Wings of the Albatross with Square Enix and released it on the June 13, 2013 for the Nintendo 3DS.
