Casper

Based on the Casper film, the game pits you in the role of the friendly ghost trying to make a friend and a second chance at life instead of scaring everyone away.

The plot centers around the "spoiled, grasping inheritor of Whipstaff Manor" - Carrigan Crittenden. She's after the treasure she thinks is hidden in the walls. Casper will need the help of Dr James Harvey - therapist to the dead - if he has any hope of succeeding in his adventures.

Casper will also have to deal with his uncles - Stretch, Stinkie and Fatso, who just love to scare "Fleshies" and thwart Casper's efforts. The gameplay is 3d - and is mostly puzzle solving, with Casper able to take a variety of forms and manipulating objects.

Casper's Scare School

Casper Scare School -- Classroom Capers is based around the movie "Casper Scare School" featuring Casper the Friendly Ghost. Casper visits Scare School with a cast of spooky "children" that includes as Thatch the Vampire, Mantha the Zombie and Ra the Mummy. The game also includes a lot of the original music and speech from the film. The simple but innovative touchscreen gameplay is easy to pick up and is divided into 24 increasingly difficult lessons in Science, History and Gym that Casper must pass in order to get the grades necessary to graduate from Scare School and win the game.

Casper: Friends Around the World

Casper's friends have been hexed by an evil spell! The king of ghosts has created an imprisoning device that sends them to different locations across the globe. You must help Casper rescue his friends, but you only have the first ten map pages. If you can find the rest, they will each lead you to a friend.

Collect the pieces of the device that sent your friends away by defeating three evil bosses. If you can manage to find everything in the game, then you'll advance to a special level in the lost city of Atlantis. Watch out for your uncles and tourists, though, because they will make your journey most difficult.

Make Casper jump on umbrellas and trees to reach high places, while using his special ability to levitate to avoid pitfalls and water. You can also make him turn into a parachute to glide down to the surface and duck to avoid flying objects. Ghostly Spheres can be thrown to eliminate apparitions and pumpkin bombs.

Casper's Scare School: Spooky Sports Day

Spooky Sports Day comes around once a year and this time Casper is determined not to let Thatch steal all the glory. Casper and his friends have been training hard to make sure that this year the prizes are shared more fairly!

Casper and the Ghostly Trio

An Europe-exclusive game based on Casper the Friendly Ghost.

Casper is a handheld action-adventure game based on the boy ghost of the same name. It is one of few video games in which Casper can actually go through walls, though only through the ones within each level. It's up to Casper to help safely guide him through each of five levels using various transformations and objects to help the zombie Doctor collect flasks with the formula to cure him. There also six children in each level to rescue, though the player does not need to in order to finish a level.

KSS Inc. (株式会社ケイエスエス, Kabushiki-gaisha Kei Esu Esu) was a Japanese company that provided anime studio services including production, music, subtitles and translation. From 1993 to 2001, it also developed and published video games.

The company was founded as Kamakura Super Station Inc. (株式会社鎌倉スーパーステーション, Kabushiki-gaisha Kamakura Sūpā Sutēshon) with KSS being its abbreviation. The company changed its name to KSS Inc. in the early 1990s.

In 2004, KSS went bankrupt and sold its assets to Softgarage.

Founded as a subsidiary of the Japanese company Natsume Co., Ltd in 1988 to publish games in the United States.
The companies separated in 1995 with Natsume inc becoming it's own business. The companies still do business together at times.
Both companies retained the rights to the Natsume brand name in the countries they operate in.

Full Release

Developed by Natsume, this was released only in Japan by the anime company KSS. In this version, the game uses an isometric view and the player mostly controls Kat Harvey as she protects Casper from the duo of Carrigan Crittenden and Dibs though Casper can be controlled occasionally after finding special pick-ups. During the course of the game, Kat collects items, therefore making this game an adventure game as opposed to an action game.

Baseballs are used to stun the enemies. Getting hit by an enemy results in a game over. There is even a box to the bottom right that keeps track of time (in seconds and minutes); the game starts with ten seconds elapsed. Saving the game is performed by finding mechanical contraptions and activating them. While saving the game, the game counts all the coins and gems; it uses that count to tabulate a percentage to decide how much of the game has been officially completed.
