World Series Baseball 2K2

World Series Baseball 2K2 features a complete 2002 roster list and various game modes. Players can compete in a standard exhibition game, go for a franchise, skip directly to the playoffs, compete in a home run derby, or play online.

The game features several new options compared to its predecessors. Players can take total control of their fielding and lineup positions. It is possible to create, sign, and trade free agents. The game allows players to manage their batting and pitching rotation. It is also possible to set up a custom batting order and take control of every player on the field.

There are many statistics to keep track of, including hot and cold zones for each player, drafts, injuries, trades and fines.

The title was also released on Xbox under the title "World Series Baseball".

NFL 98 is a sports game released for the Sega Mega Drive in 1997. It is not to be confused with Madden NFL 98 which came out the same year. This one was developed by FarSight Technologies and published by Sega exclusively for North America.

World Series Baseball Starring Deion Sanders is an entry in the World Series Baseball series, and was released exclusively on the Sega 32X in 1995. It was not released outside of North America.

World Series Baseball

World Series Baseball is a baseball game for one or two players. It is the first entry in Sega's franchise of the same name and the first baseball game of its generation with a full MLB license. Teams and players are based on the 1993 season: all 28 teams including the expansion teams Colorado and Florida, as well as the two All-Star teams are included.

Gameplay and options are similar to the previous year's The Majors: Pro Baseball. Exhibition games, two-player matchups via Gear-to-Gear cable, and a full season (of either 32, 84, 123 or 162 games) including playoffs and World Series championship are available. Also returning is the option to edit one's own team, with two team slots for saving to battery-backed RAM. Three different stadiums (open, turf and dome) can be selected and pitcher and batter order be freely set.

Gameplay follows the standard model: players control all aspects of play, from a view behind the batter for batting and pitching and an overhead view of the field for running and fielding. On offense, players can lead off and steal bases, while defense allows for dives and jumps as well as unassisted plays.

World Series Baseball 2K2, or World Series Baseball as it is known for Xbox, is a sports game developed by Visual Concepts and published by Sega for the Dreamcast and Xbox. It is the first game in the modern series to be featured on the Xbox and the first title in the series developed by Visual Concepts. It is the successor to the World Series Baseball series for the Sega Genesis, Sega Saturn, and Sega Dreamcast. It was released in 2001 to coincide with the beginning of the 2002 baseball season.

The game and the rest of the 2K titles on the Dreamcast have had their online components revived and are completely playable online.

World Series Baseball, known in Japan as Hideo Nomo World Series Baseball, is a Sega Saturn baseball game developed and published by Sega. An entry in the titular World Series Baseball series of baseball titles, the game was first released in the United States in November 1995, with a worldwide release in the following months. In Japan, World Series Baseball game is sponsored by professional Japanese baseball player Hideo Nomo.

The game later received a 1996 sequel, World Series Baseball II.

This Saturn version is unrelated to the Sega Mega Drive and Sega Game Gear games of the same name - it is a brand new entry, despite not having a brand new name (although during development it was known as Grand Slam Baseball), which takes advantage of the system's 3D graphics.

Japanese version possibly to make this distinction, being sponsored by Hideo Nomo. This of course, can cause further confusion, as there is a Nomo Hideo no World Series Baseball for the Game Gear also. It would not be the last game to disregard previous entries in the series - a 2001 World Series Baseball exists also.

Sega Sports' World Series Baseball, or simply World Series Baseball, is a sports game developed by BlueSky Software and published by Sega for the Genesis/Mega Drive. It is the first game in the series and was originally released in 1994. A Sega CD version was planned, but later cancelled.

The game was a major advancement in Sega baseball games in that it included licensed MLB players and teams (the first baseball video game to have both such licenses [previous baseball video games only had one license]; they are based on the rosters for the 1994 MLB season), and relatively accurate gameplay.

San Diego Padres broadcaster Jerry Coleman provides the play-by-play for the game.

The LCD game of Baseball is a Sega Sports-branded baseball game created by Tiger Electronics. It was released as part of the Pocket Arcade series in 1994.

The game was re-released as Deion Sanders Baseball the following year, but aside from a title change and a different physical shell, the game is thought to be identical.
