AI War: Fleet Command

"You are outgunned. You are massively outnumbered. You must win." These are your orders.

Humanity has already fought its war against the machines -- and lost. AI death squads stand watch over every planet and every wormhole, the few remaining human settlements are held captive in orbiting bubbles, and the AIs have turned their attention outward, away from the galaxy, to alien threats or opportunities unknown.

This inattention is our only hope: a small resistance, too insignificant even to be noticed by the AI central command, has survived. These are the forces you will command. The AI subcommanders will fight you to the death when they see you -- but your glimmer of opportunity comes from quietly subduing those subcommanders without alerting central processing to the danger until it's too late.

You do have a few things going in your favor. Your ships are much faster. You have safe AI routines to automate defenses and mining outposts. You have production techniques that can churn out fully-outfitted unmanned fighters in seconds. There will never be more than a few thousand of your ships versus tens of thousands of theirs, but through careful strategy you must somehow reach and destroy the heavily-guarded AI cores.

Go forth into the galaxy, steal AI technology, recapture those planets you must in order to achieve your ends, and save what remains of humanity. But draw too much attention to yourself, and the full might of the AI overlords will come crashing down.

AI War: The Zenith Remnant

The Zenith Remnant is AI War's first expansion, and focuses both on adding capturable units and a new minor faction called the Zenith to the game. Arcen maintains an exhaustive list of features, but highlight features are as follows:

* Golems, which have many similar properties to Supreme Commander's "Experimentals".
* Several new base ship types, further expanding on the available choices for the player as well as making the AI a more devious opponent.
* New AI types that took advantage of many of the capturables introduced, as well as some that use Zenith ships.
* Over 40 minutes of new music tracks composed by Arcen Games' composer, Pablo Vega.
* A new class of "Experimental" ships that offer abilities one would not ordinarily find in AI war ships.

AI War: Children of Neinzul

Children of Neinzul (or CoN) is a micro-expansion for AI War, from which all proceeds from are donated to Child's Play, a charity organization for sick children. As of early 2011, over fifteen thousand dollars had been raised and donated. The Children of Neinzul expansion adds new features to the game, including:

* 36 New Ships
* 6 New AI Special Weapons
* 6 New AI types
* 4 New Music Tracks
* 2 New Map Modes

AI War: Light of the Spire

WarLight is a strategy computer game that resembles Risk, although each individual game can have different rules, maps and features that are customized by the host. The game excels in strategy because there are over a thousand maps that can create millions of variations.

AI War: Ancient Shadows

Ancient Shadows (or AS), the fourth expansion for AI War, the expansion was released on October 19, 2012 along with the version 6.0 of the game. The expansion features:[17] 
 A whole new kind of human player. It's now possible to control champions alongside the main fleet, or to have another player control just one single massive ship. 
 Several new sub-races dwelling in the backwater parts of the galaxy for your champions to interact with. 
 Modular fortresses. 
 9 new bonus ship classes. 
 3 core AI guard posts and one new minor faction. 
 2 new AI types. 
 2 new map types. 
 98 minutes of new music by Pablo Vega.

AI War: Vengeance of the Machine

AI War 2: Zenith Onslaught

Brave Zenith invasions, civil wars, or ally with the Svikari. Arm yourself with elite Cruisers. Find new Outguard for hire, defensive structures to build, and maps to explore. You may face new AI types, capture yet more golems, and choose if you wish to encounter the planet-eating Zenith Miners.

AI War 2: The Spire Rises

Tons of new core content -- turrets, Arks, strikecraft, and more. An entirely new way to play -- open warfare instead of guerilla fighting -- if you partner with the Fallen Spire faction. A new level of cunning for the AI if you give them the new Scourge faction as a partner.

AI War 2: The Neinzul Abyss

We have encountered the Neinzul before, but never like this. Play as a Necromancer, as a Suzerain, as a Lone Ark, or with or against many of the varied new factions this expansion brings.

Arcen (pronounced with a hard c, like “ken”) was founded in 2009 by Chris Park, who is now its sole employee. A lot of really talented folks have worked with us over the years in both fulltime and part-time capacities, but we’ve always stayed small and yet done big things. 
 
Our mission to deliver an unparalleled experience with our games. We love feedback, and while we can’t do everything, we’ve already implemented (literally) thousands of features, tweaks, fixes, and balance improvements based on player suggestions. We play all of our own games, so we tend to continue to grow them after release for our own entertainment as much as anyone else’s.
